So it's Sunday and I don't have a lot of progress to report. I've been sooooo sick all week, I could not work out. But you'd think I'd lose weight anyway, since I've only been eating soup and loads of liquid. But noooooo. My weight is at a stand still. Hopefully I'll be well enough in a day or two to do some form of…

I'd like to jump in on this challenge. I did it last year and it was very motivational. SW/CW: 179.6 GW 159 (would really like to be in the 140s but I'm being realistic) Goals: 1. Clean eating (80/20) 2.Work out at least 5 days a week

I'm joining this challenge late but I really need some motivation to get the weight off. I have re-gained 15 lbs :explode: So it's back to the drawing board. Starting weight for the challenge 179 Goal weight for challenge: 159 (realistically, 165; I'm a slooowww loser!) Ultimate goal weight: 135

I'm also doing the 30 day challenge. Great workouts and FREE! I'm working on the hourly squats (20 an hour). I think I will up the count to 30 per hour for the evening.

So I used to weigh in everyday but I decided to stop weighing myself so often since I've read other MFPers post that say it's not a good idea. Well in doing so I have gained back over 10 pounds this summer. So the moral of the story is, I am going back to weighing in every day with the mind set and understanding of how…

June 4 weight: 177.0 June 11 weight: 171.0 I don't really think I've lost 6 pounds in one week. I had a lot of water retention and some of it was water weight. I was down to 169.0 in May. Trying to stay focused on making the right food choices, exercise more regularly and no overindulging on the summer treats.
-
Forgot to put in weight: 177.0 (gained back 8 pounds) Now that I've gotten the crying out of the way time to reboot and start again. Let's go!!

I definitely understand what you're going through. For me, the scale is moving in the wrong direction! Sodium is a major culprit for the appearance of weight gain and trying to drink the necessary amount of water to alleviate the water retention can be tedious. Hang in there, we can do it.

HELP! I've fallen off the Insanity wagon and I can't get back up. I completed my first round of Insanity over a month ago ( with great results) and I began round 2 after a two week break. However, work/life got a little crazy and I have not completed a workout in over 2 weeks! I have been contemplating switching to a…

You're doing great! I am trying to keep up with you on the weight loss but you've just left me in the dust. Going to focus on "catching up" with you to motivate myself (hope you don't mind) :flowerforyou:

I am not working out as hard as I should and the scale is reflecting that. Thinking about trying CROSSFIT. 2. Get my butt out of…

Sorry for your loss. I am glad to see you back with the challenge. I too have fallen off, but I'm ready to get back at it.

Done and feeling the burn.

Done! Feeling the burn

Participating in 5k every month is impressive. I am thinking of doing a 5k with my co-workers. Don't get discouraged by the scale, just keep moving and eating well and the results will come.

Good to see hear that your pregnancy is going well. I admire that you are still focused on staying a healthy weight during your pregnancy. I did well with my weight with my first (exercised almost until the end), but bedrest with second resulted in more weight gain than I wanted and well by the 3rd and 4th child, I decided…

Stay focused! Having mini goals like this Summer weight loss challenge has helped me stay on track. Even though we may not meet our exact goal weights, we are all much better than when we started.

Didn't realize this was a rest day. I count the squats that are a part of my Insanity workout. Oh well. On to the next.

I log Cardio Recovery as cardio but you will have to add it to the exercise database. Cardio Recovery is a little Yoga-like.

I incorporate strength training into my workout 2-3 days a week ( I sometimes log it as cardio because I'm too lazy to put each lift in individually; gotta work on that :blushing: I'm reading the New Rules of Lifting For Women (NROL4W) to amp up my routine. I think it is vital to include strength training to your workout.…
