GorillaEsquire, While I realize that the first part of your question is very specific, the final "question" was very generic, so I'll address the 2nd. Why would you put all this information about yourself in your profile on a public forum? About Me: 6'3 / 270 Married / 4 kids Attorney 24 year martial artist DOD Certified…

Absolutely no disrespect intended, but you really need to educate yourself from a reliable source. There is no way to "focus on losing inches". You just lose fat. The inches will come as part of that. And here's my opinion of the best FREE source out there: http://www.acaloriecounter.com/diet/ I have no affiliation with…

This site has the answer to your questions. http://www.acaloriecounter.com/blog/why-am-i-not-losing-weight/ If you were really eating ONLY 1,200 calories each and every day, (on average), you would certainly be losing. Weigh everything you eat, rather than using measuring cups. It's way more accurate. Good Luck!

Your BMR is how many calories you need to eat, just to live. If you were to lay in bed all day. TDEE is the number of calories that you actually burn in a day (on average), assuming that your activity level is close to what you entered in the calculator. Fat loss is usually TDEE - 500, as a 500 calorie deficit each day…

There are 11 potential reasons!! http://www.acaloriecounter.com/blog/why-am-i-not-losing-weight/ But, the only one that matters is that you're not in enough of a caloric deficit. Be honest with yourself, and I promise that you'll start losing weight when you fix whatever is wrong. I'm a 5' 10" man and I'm EATING ~1850…

Here's a site that might help you figure things out. http://www.acaloriecounter.com/blog/why-am-i-not-losing-weight/ http://www.aworkoutroutine.com/how-to-lose-fat/ Somewhere else on the site he's got a "Best Diet Plan" that I highly suggest reading too. Bottom line, and this might be hard to accept (to some people), is…

tanners63, IMHO you should only eat back any exercise calories if you need them to help you not feel like you're starving. IE, for small women etc. Otherwise, take advantage of the fact that you're x number of calories closer to your goal. This is assuming that you're trying to lose fat of course. For me as example, on…
