Change your routine a bit. Usually run? Try walk. Usually do free weights? Do kettle bells. Don't lose hope!

If you can, I also advise getting a heart rate monitor so you're honest with yourself for the exercise calories too. I find the inexpensive machines or the calorie estimate on here to be off too much to be considered reliable.

Hello, Forum! I'm going on 27 y/o Canadian female, and have been doing this for just over a year now. I have lost almost 35/40-45lbs I was looking to lose, and have learned a lot along the way! Anyone is welcome to add me as well

Plan in advance. Make bulk good meals and freeze. Log the night before - plan plan plan! - Also, c25k

You should check out the vegan line 'gardein'. They're really good! I love the fishless filet, and the chick'n sliders.

In all seriousness, I sorta get it. I'm jealous of my boyfriend's roommate in a way. Although they don't share a room, they spend much more quality time together because of it than I get to with him. That being said... I'd never say it out loud to him

As well you should!!!

Well that came out of nowhere... also, *professional (sorry, couldn't help myself!)

I'm not vegan, but GARDEIN is the answer. I eat the stuff constantly and it's really tasty!

Thanks for the gif! Putting it as my e-mail signature now.

I'm definitely going to need therapy now.

IMO, You need to log consistently and everything you eat, every day. You need to make sure you maintain a deficit as often as possible both in calories and in sodium... you seem to be going over in both quite often. Some strength training is also very helpful, if you're not doing it already.

Upper back. So sexy!

After already losing 15lbs (and only being about 20lbs above 'normal' weight), i was taking a flight back home to see my family, and the guy next to me texted his girlfriend to say that he was sitting next to a fat c*** eating dry ribs. Yes, I was eating dry ribs. It fit into my calorie count, and I had to skip lunch at…

Don't lie, You're not ashamed of that.

that I'm considering breaking up with my serious boyfriend because he's going to the doctor to get diet pills, because he's 'genetically big' (not because he eats out 2x/day).

My excuse was "my body is built this way. It's comfortable at this weight." Not true in either respects. It took me a while to figure out that I was just lazy.

I have a feeling romantic comedies give off this "Cute Story of How We First Met" impulse so many people try to do pick-up in as 'cute' of way as possible. Sometimes, it is not received in the way they intended. Just my two cents!

RockMyRun.com You're welcome.

My friend (who's a nutritionist/gym nut) said the same thing! I'm glad the information is coming out correctly.

If you want to use up your calories, make sure to use them on fruits and veggies and such. I used to see "200 calories" left over so I'd head straight for a can of pop! Not really very helpful if it happens on an almost daily basis.

Friday mornings! Once per week seems to be the best way to go about it IMO.
-
Gardein has some great Vegan products.... (Kosher too!)
-
I'd also recommend some ab exercises like crunches and proper sit-ups!
-
I gave up chips. i was obsessed and there was no 'moderation' for me. It was an every-night habit. Now I eat corn chips every week or so, and call it a day.
-
Excellent point! And I notice with the weight loss I gained confidence, which is also attractive!
