I once neglected to realize that my gym pants had gotten a bit too big on me...they fell down at the gym as I locked out a deadlift (thank God I had shorts on underneath them). Embarrassment is temporary, PR's are forever.

My chest is small to begin with (high A/low B)...and I've found that bench pressing has actually helped me out some. Gives me the illusion of cleavage lol.

Recovering alcoholic...little over a month sober, after making it almost a year before i relapsed. :disappointed: Congrats on 6 months. It's tough, keep going.

I don't think it's terribly weird, but I love pb, banana, and bacon sandwiches. Delicious.

I was actually doing a P90X/Insanity hybrid for a while. For reference, I finished my first cycle of P90X, lost weight, and thought I was in pretty good shape...til I tried Insanity. Lol. The warm-up damn near killed me the first time I tried it.

I love P90X. I've had those DVDs for several years now and I still laugh at all of Tony's stupid jokes. I didn't like P90X3 too much though.

Hey Fluffy! I'm 27 and also polyamorous (bisexual). I love videogames and the occasional anime, Magic the Gathering, and assorted nerdy tabletop games. Add me!!

Right? Everyone's quick to recommend SL 5x5...I like SS better cause 3x5 is more managable while eating at a deficit, and power cleans are a ton more fun to do than rows.

The Taco Bell Cleanse generally works well for me, actually. Lol
-
Also on a low crab diet--I'm allergic to shellfish, unfortunately.

A former boss that I had not seen in a while stopped in to where I worked and the first thing she said to me was "Damn Nic, you got fat." The woman has no filter. But I'm glad she did. I mean she was right, and it spurred me to look at myself honestly in the mirror and realize I needed to do something about it.

My boyfriend is very supportive. I took him to the gym with me when I first started lifting (he used to be a PT), and he showed me how to do all the compound lifts...we don't get to go together much anymore cause of our schedules, but having somebody in it with me keeps me motivated nonetheless. I'm also into BJJ and Muay…

I do whey protein...snort a few lines in the morning and I'm good to go. I find this is best for optimal protein absorbtion. Seriously though, I buy whatever's cheapest at walmart. And those brands marketed to women are usually terrible. Less protein, smaller container, more expensive. I'm pretty sure whey is gender…

I must have been away when Keto became the new weight loss fad. Ah well, guess it could be worse...

Did the shells come off easy? Cause every time I hardboil eggs, I take half the egg off with the shell when I peel them.

I didn't know it was a real thing either, lol. I used to cut back on food so I could 1. Have more of an allowance for alcohol and 2. Get drunk alot faster. This is not healthy and I don't advocate this at all...and currently a recovering alcoholic so I guess that's all you really gotta know about that behavior. Lol.

I train BJJ, so being able to compete in a weight division that doesn't and with "and up" is a huge motivation. Lol. Getting flattened out by someone 40 lbs heavier than me is no fun at all.

I had the same problem...didn't want to step on the scale cause I knew I gained a bunch of weight, but I tried to look at it like this: yeah, it's gonna be a high number and I'm gonna be mad at myself...but today will be the last time I ever see that number on my scale again.

Training jiujitsu and muay thai for 2 years now...also running SS 3x a week. Add me!
-
I actually use this as motivation sometimes. Lol
-
Purely antecdotal, but when I started lifting, my weight stayed the same for a month and a half...even though I dropped 2 pants sizes. Take pictures and measurements. I saw a HUGE difference in my progress pics after only 3 weeks.
-
Overhead press...urgh I hate it so much. It's just about the only lift I can't continually progress on. Gotta find my fractional plates...
-
Right? I mean I can't be the only one who has Back, bicep, and ribcage day...

FOUR SCOOPS C'MON!!!

Currently on lexapro (again). Personally, I lose weight on it. Not directly because of the medication, but because it helps me not feel like a miserable sack of crap. I have the motivation and desire to take care of myself again, instead of drowning my sorrows in alcohol and cheeseburgers.

I watched in horror as a guy leg pressed on the Smith machine. I figured it was only a matter of time before he smashed his face.

Request sent! Starting over for the millionth time myself, so I feel your frustration. Depression has kicked my butt over the years, so I'd fall into this pattern where I'd pull myself together and lose some weight, then sink back into depression, not care about anything, and gain it all back. But I've been taking care of…

My gym has a hot tub, so sometimes after lifting I'll hop in there for a bit. Feels amazing on sore muscles. Usually I just go home and shower, inhale a ton of food, and lay comatose on my couch until I have to be productive again.

A cup of coffee before a workout generally helps. I also drink alot of those zero calorie energy drinks...but my understanding is they're not very good for you, so I won't advocate them.
