I’m a beginner too. Been using MFP for years but have been using CarbManager app to log my first week of keto. I lost 6 lbs from Monday-Friday. I know it’s just water weight but still happy about it.

So, Im 26 and Im an RN. I had no issues eating healthy when I worked in the hospital, but last month I made a switch to being a visiting nurse for the "business hours". Since I basically drive for the majority of my work day now I cant seem to get healthy meals in so I find myself stopping at gas stations buying chips and…

+ My main goal is to make better food choices and stay within my calorie goal of 1830. + No juices or soda. Water ONLY. + Do cardio at least 5x/week. I'm doing pretty good with my weights progressing so I have no September goals for that. But I'd love to see some noticeable gains this month which is why I need to get my…

Kind of annoyed with myself because I only got two workouts in last week because of a cold (which was really a 24 hr sneeze fest). It sucked because I had been on a 7 (?) week streak of going 3x per week. But oh well. Tried to make todays workout pretty quick because I had to take my 5 yr old daughter with me, but…

Workout B this morning: Squats - 5x5x140 OHP - 5x5x65 (I was supposed to be at 70 lbs today, but Im going to stay at 65 lbs for two more workouts and then go buy some of those washer weights) Deadlift - 1x5x165 Adductors - 3x10x120 Stair master speed intervals for 15 mins, 5 mins for warm up and 10 mins for cool down.…

I just want my pre-kids body back!

So, today Workout A I believe: Squats: 135 lbs 5x5 Bench Press: 75 lbs 5x5 Barbell Row (I failed!): 95 lbs attempted 5x5 but instead got 3, 4, 4, 5, 5. I think I could have gotten 5x5 but I wouldnt have progressed anyway because I wouldnt have felt comfortable upping the weights for the next time. Also did: Isolateral Wide…

First time posting here, but this is yesterdays workout. Oh and yesterday marks my third week training for three days per week. Yay! Squat 5x5x130 OHP 5x5x65 DL 1x5x155 Also did some inner thigh work and walked on the treadmill at an incline of 9 and speed of 3.5. SN: The OHP drives me crazy. It is by far the hardest lift.…

I think my August goals are simple enough. *Get my eating under control. I like to eat out a lot and I'm pretty sure that my progress would be greater if it wasn't for that. *Continue the program 3x per week despite my upcoming job/schedule change. *Get in some cardio at least 5x per week, 15-30 mins daily would be ideal.

Feel free to add me! I did great last summer and found that it was mostly because of all the friends I had made on here, but many of them stopped logging. I've picked my streak back up and am looking for more motivated people!

Hey everyone! I started the program yesterday and plan to stick with it. I did the New Rules of Lifting program last summer for a few weeks, but I didn't feel that it was the right program for me because I wanted to do more compound lifting as opposed to all the accessory muscle lifting that was in the New Rules program. I…

Thanks everyone! I'll find something else to supplement SL with.

YESS! Good job. Congrats!

Added you! We can definitely help motivate one another. I was doing really well from April to July but fell off for the months of August and September. Just got back on track last week and so far so good!

Ive been through the entire program twice and got great results. Lost more inches than weight.

Thank you!

Ive done HHA, but it was terribly boring! Only lasted about 2 weeks before I ditched it. Its extremely slow paced and I lost interest the first time I did it but tried to keep going. I just couldnt!
