These are the two best websites I have found and used! http://www.365daysofcrockpot.com/ http://www.getcrocked.com/ There is so much more than just soup and chili, which are both awesome, but why limit yourself to just those? I have never tried any of these recipes, but they look amazing!…

Party of Five My So-Called Life Mad About You

Some recipes use a boxed rice mix, which I'd rather not use because those are usually packed full of sodium.

Hi there! I've been cleaning out my friends list of inactive people and looking for new friends for support. I'm 32 year old and have around 70 lbs. to lose. Lately, I've been working on kicking the soda habit. So far I've been doing pretty well--I've been completely soda free for 12 days! It might not seem like very long…

This sounds EXACTLY like me. I can tell when I am going through withdrawal too.

I have not tried that idea yet.

It's the same with me. I stopped buying it, and never drank soda with meals whenever I went out (I still don't!). But then the cravings would start up again, and I would ask my husband to pick up a 2 liter on the way home from work, and then all my days of not drinking soda goes down the drain... Once I have one, I'll want…

One reason I stay away from the diet stuff!

I think for me, it is the sugar that is the addicting part. Sure I like the caffeine, but I don't think that is what initially draws me to soda.

I've got several of her DVDs but I haven't been using them lately (I should start using them again). I have a love/hate relationship with them. I usually end up swearing at the tv while I work out to them, but I always feel so good and proud of myself after I get done with them. :) I love her DVDs and her attitude. If you…

Hello out there! I had previously been using MFP to help lose weight, but I ended up getting frustrated and gave up. After reading several weight-loss stories in a magazine recently, I felt encouraged and motivated to give things another try. I'm looking for some new friends to help with motivation/encouragement/tips. I am…

Yes, another vote for Skinny Taste! I also recommend... http://www.getcrocked.com/

Another vote for steel cut oats! I like regular oatmeal too, but I actually prefer steel cut oats more.

If you like mushrooms and are still eating cheese, I suggest this recipe. I've made it a couple of times--I'm not a big fan of mushrooms, but I loved it. So did my husband! http://www.eatingwell.com/recipes/portobello_philly_cheese_steak_sandwich.html

Ha ha! I love it. I'm 32!

I would not classify myself as a vegetarian currently, but I am working towards a vegetarian only diet. One of my goals that I am working on right now is having three full days dedicated to eating vegetarian. :)

Not sure if I want to venture towards stevia or not. I don't know much about it--guess I will have to read up on it. I'm trying to cut down on processed products, and I've never really been a fan of sugar replacement products.

Totally understand! I have been guessing myself and assuming that I've been eating one serving, but it is probably less because I've already eaten two "servings" in the past few days, and there is still so much left. It makes me really wonder how big the actual serving size is. Oh, well! :)

If anyone has some good low-calorie breakfast ideas, I am in need of some.

This is such motivation for me right now! Thank you so much for starting this. It also helped me get out of bed this AM and take the dog on a walk. Looking forward to being 20 lbs. lighter and healthier.

I'm not going to lie and say that my family is my first source of motivation--they motivate me, but I have other things that are driving me to want to lose weight and be healthy. Don't judge my reasons... I bought slutty looking panties years ago as a motivator, and have YET to wear them, or even fit into them. Enough is…

Well, this is a little embarrassing... I don't have a workout/fitness plan right currently. But I am planning on getting up early during the week to walk the dog before my husband gets up to go to work. Then I will probably use a fitness DVD 3 times a week. I've gotten several videos over the years and I'm thinking of…

This is the very kind of motivation I am looking for! Count me in.

I've got 70 lbs. to lose, so I'd say I am in for the long haul too. Feel free to add me.

I always wondered about the WW online program, but felt it was kind of expensive, especially when there are free places like MFP and Sparkpeople. It seems like a lot of people lose weight using the WW program, but I always wondered if there was a catch of some sorts...
