  • HI! I'm 23 wks pregnant with my 2nd child. I really don't recall my first weight gain, but I lost it all. At my last appt, I was told that I pushing the expected weight gain already and I'm this is the point that I start to gain more. Not only do I want to watch what I eat, but I want to ensure that I'm able to lose the…
  • Hi ladies, please feel free to add me as a friend. I'm in the Navy and always trying to keep my weight within the range, one thing I've learned to focus on is the BF% as well. Over the past 15+ PFA cycles, I have only been in weight a few times. This fall, I plan to be within the weight range, so far only 8 more lbs to go!…
  • Today was my first day off level two. Modified crow pushup are even a workout! The lunge with row is interesting as well, my weights are too heavy for me, I'm kinda bummed about that.
  • This afternoon will be my last workout under level 1. Yesterday, I fudged the cardio portions a little, but ran 1.5 miles immediately after finishing the workout. This morning was a required Navy PT session, so this afternoon I plan workout. Though I may attend "bootcamp" at the Y then hit up JM afterwards.
  • Sadly, I got rid of my small set of free weights that ranged from 2-7lbs which was great for some moves. Now I only have 10lb set. So, I've been using my bands for most and trust me, I still feel it during the workout as well as afterwards. I have a red once which I believe has a lot of resistence. The first time, I was a…
  • I'd love to join you. I actually did it this morning. I'm thinking about making Friday's my rest day, so that would make me move on Sat and Sun (which I am most lazy on Sundays).
  • The device is waterproof up to a limit (way more than other devices) you can even swim in it. As for the sleep data, it's not as detailed or useful as the sleep data available from Jawbone Up. I just leave mine on all the time, though lately I've started removing it when I shower just cause, but you can shower with it if…
  • You have to manually sync it through Bluetooth or your computer (I seldom use my computer). Daily your numbers reset to "0" your steps are adjusted automatically based on your sets the day prior. Calories, I use MFP, so I never both with what shows on Garmin Vivofit or Garmin Connect. Hope that helps. There is also a group…
  • I had the same moment, but I was lifting at the time, I looked around wondering if someone thought I was crazy.
  • 10/1 2.4 10/6 1.5 10/8 1.7 Day 2 running with audio book, I think I found something I enjoy. I'm listening to Gone Girl. That's just running straight, I think I will go back to working on the C25K, I felt like I got my miles in for the time.
  • Is it too late for me to join this? I'm actually doing a friend bet with my mom, we are both trying to lose 5 lbs this month. If we succeed, I get a facial and she gets a massage. SW: 181.4 CW: 180.3 GW: 160 Weigh in Dates: Start of Month (10/01 Wednesday):181.4 10/04 Sat: 180.3 10/11 Sat: 10/18 Sat: 10/25 Sat: End of…
  • 10/1 2.4 10/6 1.5 I'm trying something different, does anybody run listening to audio books? It didn't seem to make my run and workout to bad.
  • Hi! I'm a re-introduced newbie to running and weights. Before my injury and pregancy I did both, but never long distances. Now, I am getting into running, working on week 4 C25K and my NROLFW just arrived yesterday so I plan to use than instead of my other book I was getting weight exercises from.
  • I achieved my goal for last month, so I in it again this month. I added 5 extra miles, so I'm shooting for 30 this month. 10/1 2.4
  • I achieved my goal and passed it by some!! Yeah me! I'm in this again for October.
  • Hi. I currently wear the Garmin Vivofit, kind of expensive, but I searched on eBay and got it at a great price (only $90!). I have to stay with small and discreet devices due to uniform regulations. I also had the Up24. Between the two, I am much happier with the Vivofit, it actually counts my steps even when I am pushing…
  • I'm behind my goal of 20 runs for the month (I should try to double up), but I know I'll be able to make my miles. 9/1 .5 9/2 2.38 9/4 2.4 9/7 2.1 9/9 2.4 9/12 3.18 9/18 2.4 9/19 2.54

  • C25K day 3 done! Darn treadmill shut down in middle of my run, but I was determined to complete 30 mins, which ended up being 40 total. Maybe the restart was good! 9/1 .5 9/2 2.38 9/4 2.4 9/7 2.1 9/9 2.4 9/12 3.18
  • C25K day 2 done 9/1 .5 9/2 2.38 9/4 2.4 9/7 2.1 9/9 2.4

  • 9/1 .5 9/2 2.38 9/4 2.4
  • Day 2 officially completed! After finishing, I decided I wanted to run on the treadmill, definitely was not able to run the whole time as I did earlier this week, but I did completed a total of 2.4 miles by 32 mins, a mixture of walking and running. Felt great afterwards! Topped it off with some tasty watermelon.
  • Completed my 9/2 run. Plan to get another one in this afternoon. 9/1 .5 9/2 2.38
  • I'm going to consider my Sept 2 workout, day 1.5. I did complete a 2.38 mile run then when I went to start my workout my daughter was a little fussy so I barely got through the 1st half of the rotation. This afternoon is our workout day at work, so I will leave work an hour early to get it done.
  • I'd like to join this. Just starting to try to make running a natural event again. My goal is 25 miles.
  • Today was a very rough day at first. I had family visiting from MD and when they left, I crashed. If it wasn't for this challenge, I would not have mustered the motivation to get up and workout! I first ran 1/2 mile (part of my run 20 days challenge) and then completed my first day. I took measurements yesterday, but no…
  • Hips = 43" Waist = 33" Thigh = 26.5" Calf = R 15" L 16" Arm = 14" Over belly button = 36.5" Waist/Hip = 0.76 Amazingly my arms and thighs are equal  poor calves aren't, result of muscle atrophy when I was in a cast. :grumble:
  • Hi! My name is Tiffany. I'm interested in starting this challenge, I have 3 of JM discs: 30 day shred, Ripped in 30, and 6 wks to 6 pack. Sadly, I have not taken the time to commit to completing any of the programs. Working out and losing inches is extremely important to me, not only for the health benefits, but job…
