Bench lift 30 lbs dumbbells. At 27.5 right now.

I can only do 1.200 cal with eating lots of protein (eggs, chicken breast etc). Veggies etc. wouldn't work. I would be hungry all the time. On my higher cal. days (every other) I can eat a few more carbs. I also go to bed every night feeling slightly hungry. Got used to this. 1200 cal is just to low for most people.

A Sandwich thin , filled with one fried egg, 2 oz cooked ham and one slice cheese (320 cal). So filling due to all this protein.

Your body will give you the answer. I feel very sick after drinking diet soda or anything containing artificial sweeteners. But the majority of people have absolutely zero problems with it. Cheers!

My goal personally is to get 8 hours sleep. So I wear my fitbit at night. makes it easier to see the time in case I need to make changes. It's just an extra feature, not really necessary for most people I guess.

I'm with you. I lost 10 lbs pretty fast, 2 to 3 lbs per week. Now it slowed down a lot. Even with a 7000 cal deficit per week I only lose about 1/2 to 1 lbs. It might even slow down more. Exactly, I find it very easy, to stay within my calorie allowance when I eat a lot of protein. I would be super hungry all day by just eating carbs and end up going over my calorie allowance which then would cause weight gain. But less water in the body makes me look leaner and not so puffy. You are right. Protein keeps you full. Most important when it comes to trying to lose weight.

For me too, I am not retaining so much water by eating less carbs and more protein, my weight doesn't fluctuate at all and IMO fat comes off easier.

My dentist also told me to stop drinking soda, especially diet soda. So I just drink water. It's the best anyway.

That's what works: Recording food religiously and exercise. Pretty simple. I also watch my sugar intake. Congrats to finishing a marathon. Awesome.

Lol, nope, I also do a lot of weightlifting. Not worried about losing muscle.

I heard a supplement Gotu Kola is suppose to help. I just started taking it. Not sure yet.

I am 46, eat about 1300 cal (net cal. about 700) and lose 2-3 lbs per week. Walk about 23.000 steps a day and do lots of cardio. I lose best with a 1000 cal. deficit a day.

I found some great butt and leg workout especially for this problem on You Tube. It helped me a lot.
