Holy cow that sounds delish. I may try this now with a square of melted dark chocolate on the bottom. Yummmmmmm

Time for a new trainer! I just hit triple digits with my dead lift this week. Go slow, progressively increase the weight and take your time. They freekin rock!!

Um. I feel like 62# is a good chunk of weight lost. I think I've had 4-5 days where I've eaten less than 1700 and that's cause I had tummy issues. And I'm old and only 5'1... All I ask is that you think about the long term sustainability of the "plan" you are on. Good luck!
-
I'm the opposite - I've had to eat more to keep losing. My diary is open, but I will eat apples with natural pb or granola with my yogurt. You can even eat a serving of healthy nuts. There are easy ways to do it - just don't use it as an excuse to eat candy bars and chips. :) Good luck!

I want to be between 20-22% body fat. And get my legs more cut. I don't care about the scale. :)
-
Bump - that sounds so good!
-
Amanda I am right there with you! I started subbing squats for the front squat push press, as I pulled some ligaments doing that one... I'm trying to be patient, but I'm psyched to get to Stronglifts. Beeps - you can do it!!! :)
-
Thanks guys! Yanika, for your cut are you just cutting cals or do you change your workout too?

I have to say though, not all dieticians are good either. I went to one a few months back to try and get help with my chronic hypoglycemia. I brought up tdee and she didn't know what it was. She didn't even take into account that I was running 4 days a week - just said I shouldn't need more than 1600 cals a day. Um, that's…

Thirded. :)

Feel free to add me too!

I'm with you. I puffy heart love them. I HATED lunges when I started this journey, but I actually do them as a warm up to my lifting routine now.
-
I feel like I eat clean (with the exception of my dinner last night, which rocked!). I have food allergies, so I don't eat dairy or wheat anyway. Does that qualify me? If so, feel free to add me. My goal is to eat minimally anything that comes out of a package. The main exception I have right now is my soy yogurt. :)

Me. I have been natural for a couple of years now after relaxing my hair literally since I was 2. Trying to figure out how to manage my hair better now... :)
-
^^This is totally me. I'm there to burn calories and lift things up and put them down. Not to be social.
-
Keep doing them, add heavier weights build some more muscle and then look at how awesome your legs start to look. Then you can have a love/hate relationship with them. :)
-
It just struck me as odd, that's all. :)

I saw a guy lifting in flip flops today. What drives me crazy - 2 things: 1. people who encroach into my space. I mean, if the whole floor area is available, why the hell are you practically in my armpit? 2. *kitten* who stand around and talk. They never lift ANYTHING. Freekin leave then. I feel better getting that off my…

I totally agree. Thanks for all you do!! :)

Hey, I'm in Colorado too! :)
-
I'll add you now...I'm on summer vacay and practically live on here. LOL
-
Major congrats!! :)
-
Yay! Keep 'em coming! :)

Thanks guys! I'm an intermediate lifter and am familiar with a lot of the lifts already. I'm looking at some of the at home Cross Fit ideas and thinking I could do this in place of plyometrics (actually, they ARE plyometrics, just different from what I've been doing). I'm a teacher and a mom and can't justify the cost of a…

Just thought I would report in - my HRM and BMF were within 10 cals of each other today. My workout was intervals, with a hilly walk afterwards.
-
Fantastic job!!!
-
OMG - you guys are so inspirational! It's fun to read about everyone's success. :)
-
I'm having the exact same issue. I'm choosing to still go by my hrm for workouts, but what does this mean about the BMF? Can I assume it's an accurate indicator of my tdee?

I just wanted to say hang in there! I am feeling much like you are and LOVE reading the awesome advice everyone has given you. Good luck to my friend!!
