Yes, but I'm not sure what to go by...it makes me wonder if my hrm has been off all this time or if the bmf is off. I think I need to just look at is as this - "I DON'T CARE" As long as I am burning cals and eating under what my BMF says I burn a day, I should be fine, right? Wow - you all ROCK! I'm getting there, but I thought I was strong for a girl, but wow! Off to friend you guys!! And notice I didn't put my weights...I still have a WAYS to go! I am doing New Rules of Lifting Weights for Women, then plan to switch to Stronglifts.

^^^^ THIS We may be shaped differently but the fact remains that if we have too much body fat (no matter how it is distributed) then we need to get healthier. Period. I personally don't use BMi - I use body fat %. Good luck on your journey!

As a teacher, I wear mine no issues. I explained it to my students as it allows me to work to be even healthier and that's that. Who cares what the parents think? Most kids think their teachers sleep in their classrooms too, don't they? :)

I second bigger breakfasts. Also try nuts, yogurt w granola (depending on your carb goals), avacado and meat w a little hummus or balsamic dressing. If you need a little something, try Lara bars - they are all natural, 5 ingred or less and the tasty p es are like 220 cals. Try the ones w chocolate. Yummy

Thanks for the continued input! I'll address a few points: TDEE - I'm pretty sure it's pretty accurate. I wear a Body Media Fit, plus all the calculators put me that high. I'm a middle school teacher and lift heavy 3x a week, jog 2-3 and walk to make sure I get my minimum daily steps. Food allergies - the only stuff I have…

I use a heart rate monitor and log it as a jog. I figure if I jog even a little, I want to give myself the credit! Lol

@tcm - I feel your pain. I had a bad plateau that was no joke broken because I was unfortunate enough to get the tummy flu. Lol Hang in there - we CAN do this!! :) Thanks everyone for the kind words!

No, that's from before. I currently eat an average of almost 1900 a day. And if I ate only my BMR and 1/2 my exercise cals it would be even less. :) Thanks for the input!! :)

Thanks for the link! I've done a bunch of reading on breaking plateaus - when I hit one before, my husband finally convinced me to eat more and it worked. Not sure that's what I need this time though...
