No you got the question wrong.I was asking does cutting down like 500 calories from the total calories you eat a day like say 2000 is the same as burning 500 cals from the 2000 calorie you eat a day(no calorie cutting).Suppose if i want to loose weight which one should i choose?

Ok the bmr is about 1800 so cut about 300 and do some cardio to cut 200 more so 500.How about that?

I mean potential for overall development of my body also height,if cutting down a 10-20% calorie for a short period of time like 1-3 months,will it have any effect on my development and stuff like that?

Yea i am planning to cut 10%cals from my maintenance level.Should i be lifting or just do some cardio,light exercise that you can do at home?I don't know if i could get down to 10% bf with diet and small workouts alone so i guess i should bulk while lifting and stuff then cut?I am 18 too so consider that for any health…

Yea i thought of just dieting with cardio till reaching my goal.I didn't knew the possibility of loosing large quantity of muscle mass,which will suck yea.So i guess i should be bulking then cutting when i get the time.Thanks and sorry i was tired at the time when i made this thread so you know.
