Gazpacho.

Spends a tad too much time in the bathroom.

We swapped out tortillas (I use gluten free but whole wheat works) for crust and make small pizzas with that. The kids really like it. We use ground turkey for a lot of things. And some of it is just letting the kids adjust.

It's about that plus some humidity here in the hill country of Texas, so I get ya. I found that if I spend the day prehydrating and then stop drinking water about an hour to hour and half before the run then drink water again after I cool down from the run I don't have that dehydration migraine. But the key is def the lead…

Fridge porridge and mug o eggs with laughing cow cheese and cubed ham are pretty much go to breakfasts for me. But keep me full and are easy- the fridge porridge is rolled oats, chia, almond milk, fruit and some sweetener of some sort. Mug o' eggs is an egg, tbs milk, 1 wedge laughing cow cheese and ham. Nuked in the…

Nothing she has said is actually indictative of an eating disorder. She's stated that she is underweight and wants to gain without resorting to fried junk food. Again, not indicative of an eating disorder. BMI is notoriously inaccurate, so no- not concerned- especially considering she recognizes the problems and is taking…

I wouldn't recommend eating a whole case. You'd be having the poop shoots (technical nursing term, there). But one or two a day can add good calories in. There are a ton of foods out there that are calorie dense and still good for you.

Even if I were a doctor, I couldn't give any advice over the net. You might have some serious underlying cardiac or respiratory conditions. Or it might be allergies. Go to your doc. As far as cutting out crappy foods- just do it there are plenty of healthy, calorie dense foods out there to help you gain weight without the…

@tmturner74 I just restarted c25k this week- I had fallen off the band wagon because work had been crazy the last couple of weeks. I actually really enjoy the program.
-
Second day of restart- w1d2. Managed to pull just over 2m and my pace felt better today- despite the over 90 heat. Tomorrow off and then w1d3 Friday.

Add me. Trying to get reinvested in my weight loss and running!

I am just starting and am so lost in meal planning hell. I plan, buy then don't cook because work held me over or I didn't feel like it after driving over a hundred miles in a day. Would love some tips myself!
-
Basically- if the running shop placed them then they should be good. The place I go has a no questions asked 30 day return policy. So you should put a few miles on em and see how they go.
-
I loooooooove mine! I have a super narrow heel and they cup my heel and prevent rub and also have a wide toe box so no pinched toes or arches. Finally my feet don't hurt after my two miles.
-
Completed w3d1 yesterday- went better then I expected. Bit sore this morning, but nothing unusual. Work has a 5k foam run that everyone signed up for and I need to plop down my money for that- it's in September I think.

Spends way too much time in a small box

Canned tuna (I prefer the pouches) x2 1/3c bread crumbs 1 egg Green onions Dijon mustard Dill to taste Mix it all together and form into patties and cook over medium heat. Tuna burgers!

At the risk of going way off topic- it's a holdover from pre refrigeration. Salt was added to butter as a preservative- in much higher percentages then what is currently found due to refrigeration. It's just part of the food culture now.

Hey now- biscuits and gravy are damn fine food. ;) But biscuits are very different from scones- both in texture and taste. Sadly, I can't have either anymore until I work out some gluten free versions. :(

I'm 5'10 and currently 264- so yeah, a lot of weight to loose. I've hit a plateau but I feel like I look better- I've got the double "blessing" of being tall and actually big boned- broad hips and shoulders and all. I could double for a German barmaid. So I have reconciled that I may well always be "overweight." I figure I…

Mmmmmm.... Texas peach cobbler. If I weren't going to Lubbock this weekend I would totally be breaking this out of the baking recipe vault. I prefer wild blackberries though.

Be sure to wear wrist guards (most common) injury, knee pads (road rash sucks) and a helmet. And bedazzle the hell out of it.
-
Busy park- where I run after work has a lot of other runners and walkers so there is always a lot of people around. Or go to the pound and get another running buddy....
-
That and using YouTube for your exercise guide. It's really hard for me to fit in exercise- but YouTube has a ton of good workouts you can do at home and I picked up running, which I try to fit in three days a week between getting off work and picking up my daughter at daycare.

Lots of water and going to the gym- or at least a nice, long walk- will help that.
