As a P.E. teacher, that statement really disgusts me. My students learn the proper form of push-ups. If they cannot do them properly in the correct form, they then can do "modified" push ups to help build strength. They all know the ultimate goal, however, is the build the strength to do them without the modifications. I…

I don't have any either. I think they're great...but I don't have any.

I see it as a security blanket for them.

Listen to your body. When I'm just "a little sore" I will workout those muscles, if they are really sore, I'll make sure to take the day off. Typically I alternate muscle groups for different days, for example, m, w, f are lower body, t, th, s are upper body. And then I do abs (different intensity levels) almost everyday.…

Push ups are AMAZING for your body. So are planks. You can do squats, lunges, and calf raises with just your body weight. Same goes with tricep extensions (using your couch as the edge to lower your body) Wall sits also help to build leg muscles, and if you google ab work, you can find about 1,000,000 different ways to…

It happens to me too. It's pretty embarassing. I swear I still look like I got my butt kicked for like 30 minutes afterwards too. But I FEEL better afterwards, so it's worth the cherry red face and people looking at me funny when I have to run errands afterwards. haha

I do diet rite because it doesn't have aspertame. It's also 0 calories, sugar, carbs and so on. However, it also doesn't have caffeine...which has been an adjustment to say the least.

Yeah...I have felt that way for the past 3 years. I seem to have a lot more winter clothes....but that's just because I tend to cover up the majority of my body to hide my problem areas. Hopefully that won't be an issue this summer! :-) There's plenty of time to lose another 20 pounds! :-)

I do EVERYDAY! During my 25 minute lunch I'll hop on the bike for 10 minutes, or during my prep period I'll work out, and sometimes I get in some exercise with the kiddos too. (I should tell you I'm a gym teacher...so it's a lot easier for me to sneak in a workout haha) :-)

My wake up call was looking down at the scale and seeing 198. Being an athlete most of my life, I hovered around the 140's and early 150's....but a few years of not exercising and all the sudden that's what happened. I told myself I was NOT going to hit 200 pounds. Each pound I get farther away from 200 the happier and…

I couldn't agree with you more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very well put!

LOOOOVE THEM! It's perfect when you can't get to the gym or just want to do a quick 15/20 minute workout.

I'm totally a weekend monster. It's a work in progress for me. I've started working out on Saturdays (sometimes) and that seems to help. But, as I said, it's a work in progress. I need to get to the place where it's ok to treat myself...but not for the WHOLE weekend.....

I'm a middle school physical education teacher. It's THE BEST. The kids are great. I graduate with my masters on May 13th in educational leadership. My goal is to be a school administrator by the time I'm 30. I'm 27 now...so we'll see. ;-)

I can understand your concerns. Many women have that same fear. I do have a couple things I have to explain first: Muscle doesn't weigh more than fat. A pound of muscle and a pound of fat both=a pound. Fat doesn't turn into muscle either, you burn fat, and gain muscle. However, muscle looks a lot different that fat does,…

Like: How I feel after working out--and consistently working out Dislike: That I let myself go three years without consistantly working out, and therefore it'll be a little bit longer than I'd like for my muscles to come back! ;-)

I'm 5'6 and currently 185. I'd like to be 145/150....35/40 pounds to go.

That moment when you realize your dancing naked (and it's been more than a few seconds) in your bathroom after seeing you lost a pound on the scale. hahahaha. (did that one last friday!)

It's not for me. I have a friend that has them...and although she's beautiful and gets a lot of attention from her beauty, I see a lot of men stare at her chest first. She also looks incredibly uncordinated when she runs because they're so large. I have no issues with people having them, but for me.....if I couldn't run…

I'm on a 1200, but I try to burn between 500-700...that way I can eat more. :-)

Looks like I'm not the only one that thought canned tuna. I used to live on that stuff in college. I still really enjoy it. Fruits and veggies are always a good choice, as well as yogurt. I also get a lot of the big frozen bags of boneless skinless chicken breasts. They're perfect in a pinch. Lean Cuisines/Healthy choice…

I haven't forgiven him...not one bit. I'm also a little concerned about the message Rhiana (sp?) has been sending. Allegedly they're dating again, and then she had that S&M song where she said "chains and whips excite me" ......I worry what our teen girls are thinking about this and abuse....

At a bar. hahahaha. But, we're still going strong and it's almost been 2 years. ..And he's the def the one. ;-)
