  • I never cared much for Pop Tarts but my daughter loves them. I bought the pumpkin pie ones for her to try. She didn't want them because she's not a fan of pumpkin pie but I tried one and am hooked. I have 10 boxes in my pantry right now. And 2 boxes of Gingerbread ones for a change of pace. I have one Pop Tart and a cup of…
  • Lol. But yes. Thinking, "go screw yourself! I'll be as fat as I want!" while I stuff my face.
  • I made these last night and they were really yummy. Went and bought a mini muffin tin JUST to make these. I didn't have bread crumbs so I threw a few saltines in the food processor and used those. Even my vegetable hating husband loved them.

  • That may have been about the free Zombie, Run! app. It wasn't great. But the Zombies, Run! app (from Six to Start) is awesome.
  • My mom recently got her first one at 62. We were talking about doing family tattoos and she wanted in on it. In fact, she's the only one who has had it done so far. Didn't freak us out at all. We think it's pretty awesome. :)
  • ****ting is the worst. I hate it. It ruins my day. Although I'm sure NOT ****ting might ruin my day too. :ohwell:
  • lol I dunno about that, but I definitely have quite a lot of yarn. I could knit for several years without buying any more. But I probably won't. I like buying yarn. cblkel, I'm not very good at the crochet and videos on YouTube really help me. If you're really interested in knitting, www.knittinghelp.com is a great…
  • That. I never counted calories before and the most I ever lost was 20 lbs. Since I found MFP, I've lost 60 lbs, I've gotten off blood pressure medication and my cholesterol (which was fine before) is even better now. I'd say that's pretty healthy. I don't obsess over it and I take breaks when I feel I need to. I took a…
  • Welcome, Anne! How is the sweater coming along? I have trouble with fair isle because I'm a really tight knitter.
  • Thanks! :flowerforyou: I guess i just feel that almost 2 years in, I should be a lot closer to my goal weight. I get a little frustrated about it. I definitely have to remind myself that I need to live this way for the rest of my life anyway and I'll get where I want to be eventually.
  • I can't even imagine. We live in San Diego so it's nice not having to worry about that. The first time we went was in '03 and we were able to get Friday and Saturday tix a few days before the event. It has definitely changed since then.
  • Lucky you! It seems to be getting harder and harder to get your hands on tickets (more expensive too). Last year we were only able to get 2 days (damn website glitches) but this year we managed to get 4 day w/preview night so yay!
  • Have you been to SDCC before? Doctor Who is pretty big there also (I snooped your profile). Year before last we got the coolest Doctor Who tattoo sleeves. Last year they gave out foamy Dalek hats which were not as awesome.
  • No, but we do go to the panels at Comic Con. My daughter took this picture at a signing. I was elsewhere at the time and told her I was disappointed in her for not molesting Dean for me. She said I was a terrible parent. And my favorite episode is 'Heart'.
  • Welcome all new people! Sorry for the lack of reply. I totally slacked over the holidays. lol Sisternight, I have tendonitis issues too. My doc told me not to knit so much at once. Also, I found this on pinterest so I try to stop every 20-30 minutes and move my hands/wrists around.…
  • No more holiday flavored coffee creamers. My morning just won't be the same without salted caramel mocha in my coffee.
  • Because of the Louis Ck bit, we call these "white people problems". Hilarious and probably NSFW. Lots of swearing. http://www.comedycentral.com/video-clips/s1c41g/stand-up-louis-ck--uncensored---white-people-problems Mine is that I want to play Skyrim, but I need to clean.
  • I get the whole knitting slump thing. I didn't knit anything from like xmas of last year (2011) until September 2012. Then between September and the end of the year, I knit a bag, some washcloths, a scarf, 3 hats, a pair of fingerless gloves and 2 pairs of slippers.
  • I'm about to start another pair of slippers. My mom really liked them.
  • 2 miles on my treadmill at 6.5 to complete the Runner's World holiday run streak (run at least 1 mile every day from thanksgiving through new years day). The last week of it was particularly difficult to get through as I came down with a cold on xmas day. But I did it so yay me!
  • The problem is that I go to the library once a week and get several books, but I still buy books too. Then I HAVE to read the library books before they're due back so my tbr pile at home keeps getting bigger. Oh and when Borders went out of business, I took advantage of the sale and bought like 90 books.
  • Yeah, which you'd think I'd be used to since I read The Walking Dead but it made me soooooo mad. My husband has been trying to get me to read Fables, but I think once I'm done with Preacher, I'm gonna start on Locke and Key.
  • I was reading that. Then I got to the red wedding, got pissed off and quit reading. I'm not sure if I'm going to pick it back up again.
  • Sandman was awesome and I'm working my way through Preacher right now. For graphic novels/comics, I'd also have to add Y: The Last Man and The Walking Dead.
  • Nope, it was written WITH Peter Straub. He's a whole different person. And yes, it's a great book. Black House was kind of disappointing though. If you're in the mood for funny, I have to recommend Christopher Moore. He's hilarious.
  • That's cool! I love the crap out of Skyrim. When it came out, my husband, daughter and I were fighting for time to play it so we actually went out and got a new Xbox and game. I finished re-knitting the glove and knit a pair of slippers today. Hopefully the pics show up since they're from Ravelry.
  • The other 2 gave me 27% and 27.5%, which seemed too low. The military one gave me 35% which seems a little too high. I think I'm more like 31%. Or maybe I'm just lying to myself and the 35% is just right.
