I don't like anything that is clearly visible when I wear it, so that quickly eliminates all of the bracelets and arm bands. They're ugly and can't be worn in all situations. I have been very happy with my Fitbit One. I've reached my goals using its guidance and it keeps me motivated to get out and keep moving.

Increasing your resistance by carrying a heavy pack and wearing heavy hiking boots may help. If you're going to be hiking inclines, stairs may be a good choice. Are you going to be going to an altitude you are not accustomed to? If so, that may be your biggest problem. I moved from sea level to 6,200 feet last spring. I…

I too have been happy with ProForm treadmills. I've owned 2 with no problems or complaints.

I don't really have a routine these days. I got tired of P90X, so now i just get my *kitten* out of the house. I hike 3-10 miles 4 days a week, walk in the neighborhood, and take bike rides with my son. I stay strong day to day just by managing my daughter. She currently weighs 58 pound. Cerebral Palsy makes her unable to…

Your best bet is to go Atkins, but even then I think you're reaching a bit. Good luck, but please be careful with your health. You're setting yourself up for nasty rebound gains, muscle loss, and damage to your metabolism.

I eat quite a bit of what many folks would classify as "junk food". I love pizza, cereals, ice cream, pasta, etc. Eating such things has not hindered my ability to reach and even exceed my goals. I even eat far more than 1,200 calories. When I was losing the most fat I was consuming an average of 2,200 calories per day.

This is how anorexia or bulimia starts. You need to find a professional counselor to help you with your disordered feelings toward food.

I'm, 5'4" My profile pic is me last week at 125 pounds. Not the best representation with the sweatshirt on, but I think my legs look great. This one was taken at about 132

Given the choice I will always take a manual. They're just plain more fun. I like to DRIVE, not just sit there. My parents never let me drive an automatic until I had mastered a stick. The Camaro in my ticker was a 6 speed manual. We now have a 6 speed Jeep Wrangler. My van is automatic only because that's the only way…

Try Old Navy. I love their "Flirt" cut.

It look me almost a year to lose my last 10 pounds. The close you are to your goal, the longer it will take. You need to set realistic goals, and for someone who is your weight, 10 pounds is simply not something you can do in a healthy way.

I have 9. No shame.

So it's okay for you to embrace your fat, bit it's not okay for someone else to embrace their own body? Folks need to get over the whole "OMG BOOBS" thing. Boobs are fat, you say fat is okay. Love the boobs, covered or uncovered.

I do agree that "fitspo" is no better than "thinspo". It's all unhealthy. People don't need to be shamed into wanting to get fit or shamed for not being fit enough. No matter how far we go, there will always be some stupid meme out there telling us we're not good enough.

It totally depends on the brand. I'm 5'4", 124. My jeans range from 0-6 depending on where I got them. Old Navy is the worst offender when it comes to vanity sizing.

I'm in maintenance now and have no intention of leaving. Logging got me here. Logging will keep me here.

You probably got to where you are by eating *too much* pasta, bread, etc. Portion control is the key. Eliminating entire food groups, unless you have a medical reason for it, is not necessary. I eat 2-3 servings of wheat bran cereal most days. Bread and pasta are also a very frequent part of my meals.
-
What's wrong with bread? I eat a lot of bread, cereal, etc. Yogurt is another I love for calorie boosts.

I have a Fitbit and have my step goal set to 12,500. I can usually get that in easily if I take a 1 hour walk every day. Many days I'm well over 20,000.

Meat nutrition based on weight is generally calculated raw.

My highest scale confirmed weight is 200 at 5'4". Pretty sure I've been over that at some point though too.

My biggest issue with that type of tattoo is durability. It may not look so good after a few years. Are you allergic to metals? My husband isn't allowed to wear his metal ring to work, so he has a silicone band that we wears.

I have always had great luck by increasing my intake to help bust a plateau. Jillian's formula actually still seems low to me. When I needed a reset I would bump to maintnacne for a while, which put me around 2,200 most days. 125x12= 1,500 for me. I eat quite a bit more than that most days and I am still losing.

I think the Flex is ugly, so I use a One. I can wear it with anything and it's easy to hide.

For my workouts I tend to lean toward EDM. I like Tiesto, David Guetta, Deadmau5, ATB, etc. One of my favorite "get moving" songs is Get Outta My Way by Kylie Minogue.
-
John Lithgow still gives me the creeps. Trinity was by far the best "big bad".

I heard a bit of a spoiler in the Wrap Up podcast that tells me Deb will be fine. I'm glad it's ending, but I will miss it. I can't say that I have a clue how it will end. I really do not like Hannah, so I'd like to see her gone. Not sure how Dex can dig himself out of the mess he's in now that folks are figuring out he's…

Have her go here. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/279014-days-in-a-row-incorrect Please stop with the all caps garbage. It's not at all difficult to type like a normal person and you will get a whole lot more respect.

I'm hypoglycemic and had to eat at least 1800 calories per day when I was doing P90X. If I eat too little I get vertigo and can pass out. 1600 is my rest day intake to lose weight. You may want to think about increasing more on workout days. Too large a deficit can be counterproductive. You want to be eating no less than…

I always found MFP's calorie estimates to be way high, so I usually cut them by 50%. What make you think you're burning more? Is the machine giving you a number? They're notorious for being horribly inaccurate. For the best possible number, you should invest in a good chest strap heart rate monitor. The Polar FT4 is a good…
