I had to up my walking speed to 2.5 mph from 2.0 mph to get my heart rate up to 125, my ring fits now, my clothes are looser, and I don't have to use a piece of furniture to aid myself in getting up off the floor! So many things I have noticed and hopefully more in the future!

Just for today: Weekend of 7/24 1.) Eat on the "lighter side" menu if I eat out 2.) Try to replace any thoughts of diet sodas with water

Thank you for sharing rideafast horse, this is the first thread I have seen addressing medication issues. It's really hard to stay positive when you know if you quit taing your medication you would drop 30 pounds in no time flat but instead you have to struggle daily with a yo yo scale when you are counting your calories…

I like what you said about tinkering with new things that have low calories like putting lime in your water. I particularly like the drink "Sparkling Ice" which has no calories and comes in many flavors. It makes me feel like I have have had a treat without totally blowing it. I have had a nagging craving for a huge piece of chocolate cake that is sold at safeway. For two months I have been thinking about it off and on. I think I will allow myself to have one after I have lost my first 50 lbs. And that is going to be two months from May.
