Awesome! I've run 7 half-marathons and two 30K runs. In the last 2 years. .I know what it takes physically and mentally to complete and have chosen not to race a 'full' marathon. Even thought I only run halfs, it is more than the majority of population does.

That is disappointing....we are suffering with weather in Ontario too. The race organizers will not risk injury by allowing the race to proceed if icy. Even if the conditions cause you to slow some, smile and enjoy! You rock 0 to 5km!

plan, plan, plan....run whatever distance at lunch that you can get in, get your kids to ride bikes with you, have a neighbor watch them.... it gets easier as the kids get older. Me time is important so don't be afraid to get a babysitter either. You don't need to run Boston in record time, you just need to have fun,…

I know I am showing my age....but an ookpick...

I am at 700+ days - not much weight lost (5'2" 120ish lbs) but healthier and more aware. My body fat is lower too. Am now able to leap tall buildings in a single bound.... Will lose it soon when I go on vacation. Sue

Thanks I am wearing double layer socks but will probably try single. I am getting some blister bandaids and have some glide which I will use. I did lose a toenail last May but don't think it is a factor. What do you think about not running now until the half on Sunday. THis is my third half-marathon.
