Active rest day did a 1.5 mile hike with my 20 pound pack aka baby. Excited to try and complete my squats tomorrow

Hi new and happy to be here. On week 8 of my Stronglifts journey and have sadly had my first squat fail yesterday and especially bummed it was the first time I got the big 45s up. I signed up for a 5k in May and started c25k as well which I think contributed to the fail as my quads are pissed. SL MWF and C25k TThS with…

So I started SL in February and macros but wasn't great about tracking so I lost 4 pounds and plateaued. This week I kept my macros on point, drank all the water and added cardio back in starting couch25k. I failed on my squat for the first time at 135 and my quads are so sore but I dropped 4 pounds. I am 5'3" started 184…

I am five months post baby and am so inspired by your progress, you rock!

And now I am signing up for the color me rad 5k in April. I was waffling between July and April because of the group fitness I am doing too but screw it I WILL finish c25k before then. Thanks for the fitspo!

I wear a heart rate monitor and log my strength classes as cardio and put in those calories

You rock! That is an incredible transformation.

I had Gestational Diabetes so I can feel your pain. Who doesn't want to give a pregnant woman food? You need to be open with your father and at this point it sounds like brutal honesty is the way to go. One cookie IS going to hurt. It will spike your blood sugars and require more insulin. You don't want to go blind, loose…

You can add me. Thirty one year old new mom to my beautiful 5 month old boy. Hoping to lose 50 plus pounds but I am doing Kosama so if I get toned and weigh 130 that's ok too

When I got pregnant I was diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes which increases my chances of getting type 2 diabetes later in life, it was a slap in the face that my weight was a factor and was putting my baby at risk for complications. When my son was born I looked at his face and knew that he deserves to learn how to be…

My actual resolution was to schedule and take better care of myself. I have followed through and there is no going back. I love my Kosama fitness and eating cleaner has allowed me to eat a ton and lose weight. I am loving my new life!

bump for shorty inspiration

depends on where its at and what it is. I lost 70 pounds and gained it back and the one on my back did not change.

Awesome go Mom go! She looks fantastic and more importantly it sounds like she is feeling a ton better.

punching bag works well and if you don't have one I have been known to punch the heck out of my couch until I burn the energy off.

5'3" and I am shooting for between 120 and 130. I have been as low as 100 and looked way too thin. I am doing some weight training now so the weight isn't as important to me as getting down to a healthy body fat percentage.

You are amazing, very inspiring for a new mommy.

Rock on!

Hi and I wish you well on your health journey. Hopefully once you get the eight weeks under your belt you will be able to keep it up for the rest of your life. Just take it one step at a time.

I have a 4 and a half month old and I feel your pain. He wakes me up to eat and then I can't fall back to sleep. Yoga and meditation has helped me be able to calm my brain down and sometimes fall back asleep. Magnesium has really helped my mom with her sleep issues.

If it makes you feel any better no one would ask me even when I thought it was very obvious because I think people thought it was just fat :-/ I almost had a shirt made that said yes I am pregnant but I thought that would lead to belly touching and I wanted no part of that.

thanks. I finally figured it out too. I read the thread from the beginning and will admit I teared up a few times.

Thank you for this thread, its awesome. I am going to be starting Kosma in three hours and I was starting to freak out about leaving my little man at the day care even though its only for an hour. Thank you for reminding me that I am doing this in part because he deserves a health mommy and daddy. He deserves to be taught…
