Avocados are a great source of fat but also fiber and potassium (which can be a challenge if you're eating keto) so I typically eat one per day (half per meal). Bacon and full fat cheese are great ways to add fat to veggies. Shredded coconut is another great one because it also has fiber just made sure you buy unsweetened.…

It's a challenge at first because change usually is. Try pinterest for meal ideas. I don't find it challenging to eat lower carbs and don't really crave carbs (except for the occasional craving for a donut) and alot of things can be altered to fit the macros of keto. I can share my food diary if you need some ideas.

Unless your doctor has told you to watch your cholesterol I would eat the whole egg. Lots of nutrients in the yoke and I agree withlosinmama1966 that they taste better with. I'm a firm believer in eating whole food

I feel validated (not to mention part of the non-crazy club). Thanks!

Rice isn't really all that much healthier than the junk food I eat when I'm hungry at work.

CHOCOLATE! I found Rene Rey Chocolates - No Sugar Added Dark Chocolate Bar with California Almonds. Its sweetened with Stevia and its delicious. It's a large sized bar and its 300 calories which given the size is pretty darn decent.

Gluten is in pretty much everything pre-packaged these days unless its clearly marked GF. I had to read the labels of my entire kitchen's contents and throw out anything that had to avoid making this exact mistake. Now, I've learned to keep whole foods for those snack time moments (plain nuts, fruit etc) because GF…

I live on the main floor of a 1912 house converted into apartments so basically it's a run down apartment. My hardwood floors squeeze & creek all the time when i walk around too. I do an hour of cardio (calisthenic) 5 days a week. I use a yoga mat and I don't do a lot of jumping around. I run 15-25 minutes outside but I…

I don't keep junk food in the house either but a fantastic grocery store is literally two block from the house. Bright side, they carry a ton of organic, GF and healthier versions of stuff so I end up with low calorie popcorn and super dark chocolate. However, at work if i have a hungry day I end up eating a bag of…

Hi, I'm an un-diagnosed Celiac. I had a negative result on the blood test and went GF anyways. I noticed a HUGE change and went back to the doctor and found out its not as accurate as one would think. He wanted me to go back to a gluten diet and get the scope. Needless to say I didn't ( I don't need a piece of paper…

I would do my very best to get off the mountain dew as fast as possible. Watch the youtube video below. Shocking how damaging it is. I would try coffee of sweetened tea to help with the caffeine switch. Stevia would be the only sweetener I would recommend because of all the dangers associated with the artificial sweeteners…

Hi. I have asthma and I hated running most of my life. I started this past spring and went from running 20seconds and walking 5 minutes to now running 2 minutes and walking 40 seconds. I can manage 5-7 km a night on nights that aren't too hot. It hasn't been an easy road but i work on extending my running time and SLOWLY…

I don't stick on only what they list but it gives me ideas so i can very my snacks week to week and not get bored. I'm not perfect and recently…

I actually appreciate the fact it's "trendy" now. More restaurants and food manufactures are on the bandwagon which equals more options and lower prices. I love to bake so I would bring in a GF cupcake on days they would have cake at work so i didn't feel so left out. I like to person who compared it to diabetes... i…

Cleaning and chasing after children do burn calories. There is an option in Cardio for cleaning. Try keeping track of that to get a more accurate count for your calories. Try looking online (craigslist or kijiji) for used equipment and save yourself the cash. Another option try doing some cardio video (try youtube for free…

1 frozen Banana, 1/2 tbsp cocoa powder, 1/4 cup milk (i use almond) and 1/2 tbsp on peanut butter (you can omit if you're over on calories or fat for the day). The banana gives it the sweetness without adding any refined sugars.

Pre-packed GF items are typically high calorie and high sugar content. I make my own GF/Dairy Free/ refined sugar free muffin, make a juice or just have a small portion of nuts for during the week and have eggs & hashbrowns on weekends. Either way, make your own so you can control the ingredients and the calories.

I don't eat much pre-packaged foods. My one "treat" a day is GF cracker thingies which are only 90 calories for 4 which i have with eggs to meet my protein goal.

Hi. It's possible you've hit the plateau. Another thing is your body may be holding on to fat due to toxins in your body. Have you tried doing a natural cleanse? The human body has two responses to toxins, one is to make mucus to prevent absorption during digestion or it will create fat and store it in it. If you're…
