I totally sympathize with this. I am always hungry at night. Since I can't sleep with a growling stomach, I have to eat something right before bed. I have found that cottage cheese is magic. Half a cup of low fat cc with 3 or 4 rice cakes seems to be the trick for me personally. Maybe you could try cottage cheese and a…

Oh, and I have pretty much always suffered from this. My mom really panicked when I was quite young about how much I would eat, so I think I learned to control my intake early on in life. And yes, I'm sure that damaged me emotionally, psychologically, etc., but the point is I have always been able to consume alarming…

I purposely closed my diary because I don't want comments on my food choices. Not because I think they are bad - exactly the opposite. I think I eat a healthy balance of whole foods. In fact, I don't keep packaged foods in my house, because if I lose control, it's easier to talk myself out of a binge if the food has to be…

I have tied every flavor with unsweetened vanilla almond milk. I used 1 cup milk and it set fine, but the taste is sooo weird. I always throw it away, and I never throw away food! Anyone else have this issue? It tastes fine with skim cows milk, but the almond tastes strange. Is it maybe the vanilla in the almond milk? I…

Boo berry cereal. There was a strawberry one too, don't remember the name. And Count Chocula I think. Do they still make these? They were awesome. I would seriously eat a whole box right now if I could get my hands on one.

Some of us live where it's hot outside right now! My treadmill is ordered and I can't wait for it to get here because it is soooo hot and humid. My regular easy run nearly killed me today. Bump for ideas for treadmill runs!

Bump! Can someone let us know how sugar substitute turned out? And also, how do I stop myself from eating the rest of the Nilla Wafers? Wish they sold them in a 12 pack!

Yeah, it takes some trial and error. I usually eat small ones, like 110 to 150 grams, and I microwave for three minutes on the low side and four on the high side. Be careful....my SIL just exploded her microwave cooking one too long (she went into another room and forgot it)! But yeah, four minutes max on those puppies.

I make something like this from skinnytaste.com. Save a few calories and just split an overripe banana in half, drizzle with 1 tsp. honey and sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake at 400 degrees for 10-15 minutes, depending on how soft you like it. Delicious!

I do the vanilla...love it. And let me say, I put a lot of time into finding the lowest calorie per gram of protein powder. So, if your goal is to get just that, stick with isopure. I suppose if you are willing to blow more calories and get less protein, try something else. They all taste kinda bad anyway, right??? I…

I think everyone is missing the mark here. Quitting smoking is THE most important thing you can do for your health right now. It's hard. I quit a million times before it stuck, so I know it's hard. I wouldn't worry so much about losing weight right now. The stress makes it harder to stay off the cigarettes. I hope you do…

Emilybites.com is a good one I've found recently. I'm in for suggestions....

There is no way the oats are 155 calories. Way more in just the oats, never mind the whey, peanut butter, and banana.

Soup! Any kind! Everyone on MFP acts like soup is gods gift to dieters. No, it's not. I'm hungrier after a bowl of soup than I was before I ate it. Just STOP with the soup!

How does one grill an avocado? I'm in love already!

The chicken Piccata recipe on emilybites.com is awesome. My husband even ate the leftovers and he usually REFUSES to eat leftovers (his mother spoiled him), I am a terrible cook and I pulled it off fine in twenty minutes. Oh, I did add white wine to the sauce.

Oh yeah, and when it sucks, remind yourself of the extra food you get eat after!

Check out c25k (couch to 5k) online. Hal Higdon has good free programs. For me, personally, I tried to do it alone unsuccessfully several times. Finally, I made a friend sign up with me for a class locally where we met up each week and were given a training plan and then ran as a group - and it changed my life. Now, I run…

I do it for breakfast every day and after a run. The frozen banana is key! You can't taste spinach at all. And I love the color - I get sad when I don't have spinach and have to go with a boring white smoothie! I usually do 1 c. Unsweetened vanilla almond milk, half a frozen banana, 1 scoop vanilla Isopure powder,…

My left knee popped alot when I started running often (weirdly never when I was actually running). It stopped. I started taking glucosamine and chondroitin, don't know if that helped, but I wouldn't stress it too much. Mine stopped as I got in better shape. If it hurts - stop. And see a doc.

It should be noted that this is directly from skinnytaste.com. It is delicious - I make it all the time.

Yes! I have been really successful at losing the weight, but I'm well past my goal and I CAN'T STOP! I keep saying I'll slow down next week, but I never do. I'm sort of scared that I will count every calorie for the rest of my life. Which is better than not, I guess, but it doesn't seem too fun either. Would really love to…
