  • What "system" if I may ask?
  • Sounds amazing. Is this for 1 serving?
  • You look wonderful. Way to go! I am now at your starting weight and I look forward to seeing the 280's again! Keep up your amazing work!
  • The tilapia is frozen. We get it at Sam's Club. I am not a fish eater, but it is really tasty with the parmesan crust. I just make sure I have low-cal sides with it.
  • Breakfast: Scrambled egg whites with an ounce of ham, hashbrowns and ketchup, sliced garden tomatoes. (391 cal) Lunch: Parmesan-crusted tilapia, low-fat cottage cheese, sliced garden tomatoes, chopped boiled broccoli with balsamic dressing. (402 cal) Dinner: Caribbean jerk stir-fry over mashed potatoes. (626 cal)
  • Wow, way to go! You go girl!
  • I like it with a lot of black pepper as a side to a dish. It's great to eat with fresh garden tomatoes, too.
  • Sounds great, thanks!
  • Would you mind sharing some of these meals that you prepare ahead of time? You could PM me, if you don't mind. Thanks!
  • Hi Kim, This website is a fantastic tool for tracking your weight loss and meeting people to support you in your journey. Everyone on here has their own story and struggles. Feel free to add me to your friend list. I try to track every day. Some days I mess up, but it is having this community of people that keeps me…
  • Thanks for posting this. I have been told by everyone giving advice about weight loss not to eat after 8 PM. It didn't make any sense to me. Weight loss is just a matter of calories in vs. calories out. It can't matter what time of day you eat. Your body doesn't have a weight loss clock.
  • Good point. I bring home a rotisserie chicken and take off the meat as soon as I'm home. (It's not fun to do when it's cold) I put the meat in a tupperware in the fridge and use it in various meals. I put chicken broth, carrots, onions, celery, and some of the chicken in a pot. Cook on low until the veggies are done then…
  • I have taken a few cheat days when I stop logging that day, but when my friend visited I didn't log that weekend. I wouldn't recommend it. It was so hard to get back into logging regularly, even though I was so adamant about it before.
  • I either fry egg whites or make egg beaters with a little ham in a mug in the microwave. It puffs up and it feels like you are eating more because of the size.

  • You have a very noticeable difference in your back and your arms!! Fantastic work!
  • I like to chop up zucchini, peppers, onions, asparagus, or whatever other veggies you have. Just sautee them in a little canola oil and season with salt, pepper, and garlic. I eat it with low-fat cottage cheese and sliced tomatoes. Because it's mainly veggies you can have a lot for very few calories. If I want to add…
  • 1. Oats, skim milk, maple syrup, walnuts 2. Wheat toast with real butter ( a rarity) 3. Does Coldstone count? LOL If so, a Boston Cream Pie 4. Lemon 5. Don't like to eat popcorn, but I want to try it with cinnamon and sugar 6. I don't like chocolate much, but I love brownies. Not the same, I know. 7. Those real fruit…
  • I think comparing sizes is so surprising. You can have three women of the same height who weigh the same and they could all be in different sizes. Some women are more hippey, some have broader shoulders. It's just interesting how differently each body is made. :-)
  • What a big difference! The sides of your face are more sculpted, not to mention you look 1000% happier in the last picture vs. the first.
  • I will give it a few weeks. I hope it works well. And thank you for the invite. I joined the group. :-)
  • Thank you guys. It makes me feel better that others have come to this conclusion, with positive effects. I will have to adjust my eating habits to basically eat 50% more than I have for months. LOL. I will try it for a couple of weeks as suggested and see how it works. Thank you!!
  • I believe so. I used a couple online BMR calculators and got the same answer. I keep reading everywhere that I shouldn't eat below my BMR, but I've been eating at 1250 for almost 3 months. I'm worried if I bump up almost 500 calories, I will reverse my weight loss.
  • Thank you for your responses. If my BMR was over 1700 calories, why would MFP set me at 1250? My activity level on MFP is sedentary. I'm terrified that if I eat 1700 calories I will gain all the weight back I lost at 1250.
  • I love to just sautee up some favorite veggies. I toss in a tsp or so of Worcestershire sauce and a tad of garlic. I generally like zucchini, onions, bell peppers, and matchstick carrots. Add whatever seasonings you want and make a yummy, fresh, and filling side dish. I also make a big plate of this for lunch with a couple…
  • I know you said you don't like the powdered drink mixes because of sugar substitutes, but Crystal Light has new flavors called Pure Fitness that are sweetened with stevia. It adds a few calories, but not many at all.
  • I'll be honest with you. I'm currently not working out, because I'm trying to focus on my diet. I believe that at 1250 calories I am sort of on the fence of too few calories. I notice when I eat a hundred or two more than 1250 and don't exercise, I lose weight consistently. When I exercise and eat calories back I do not.…
  • I don't think people actually know what different weights look like on different frames. People had a hard time believing I was over 200 pounds and would actually argue with me. I didn't see why they thought I weighed less, but I think people have pre-conceived ideas of what a person looks like at different weights and if…
  • My best friend got me onto Doritos and Cottage Cheese. You just use the cottage cheese as a dip. It's delicious, but I am not eating Doritos now as I'm trying to focus on healthier foods and I could just sit and eat a bag of them. I also love mixing KFC's mashed potatoes and gravy with their cole slaw. It's kind of an…
  • Wow. Fantastic.
