  • Ridiculous saying they can't do their jobs effectively... But I can understand how it doesn't set a very good example, especially if it's in an area where obesity is a major problem. Shame 'cause "cuddly" nurses are always the nicest it seems! Haha :$
  • I can't quite fathom how that many carbs a day is doing anyone any good unless you're running a marathon everyday, and even then you wouldn't be very successful as eating such little protein would mean your muscle recovery would be almost non existent! Ridiculous. And I like to think of myself as a fad diet connoisseur :P
  • I agree with everyone that now is not the time to even be thinking about calories! And as for your "even though I'm 209lbs".. My sister was heavier than that when she was pregnant, and actually gained less weight than a normal mother during pregnancy overall. After she gave birth, she was only carrying an extra 4lbs. And…
  • This is true I'm afraid. I was in exactly the same boat as you. Even though I knew what I was doing was wrong and told people I was trying to eat more, really I had no intention of doing that until something just clicked in my brain and I stopped caring what I ate and eventually my cals were up. That was some years ago…
  • Gorgeous hair! (2 words, I know!)
  • Didn't know there was one!
  • Hey, Originally from Teesside, currently living in Loughborough. Where have all the Brits been hiding? I swear all my MFP friends are American!
  • Well it certainly makes me pee A LOT more than if I don't drink it...
  • I struggle with drinking enough of anything! How much is one "cup"?
  • Hello fellow tall females :) I'm 5ft 7.5 Age: 21 CW: 159lbs GW: 145lbs UGW: 140lbs I consume about 1400cals a day and burn on average about 500cals a day and rarely eat them back (meaning I don't freak out if I have a particularly naughty day!) I am pretty curvy and love that womanly look. My ideal figure would be to keep…
  • Ask a member of staff to show you - it is their job after all. Have you not had to have a gym induction? Otherwise most weights machines have it printed on them somewhere how to use it correctly. Good luck!
  • 2 resolutionist young girls having a personal training session with an instructor. One of them turned to the instructor and said "But we thought if your work out is really intense you just get super muscly and I don't want big muscles?" Doh. Oh.. and a man in pyjama bottoms! Also both him, and the girls above were in the…
  • I like my thighs, apart from the very tops. Never gonna have small legs having started dancing age 5! Bad pics for muscle tone :/ Note to self: Take some better ones.
  • Yes please! Everyone's gone a bit quiet on my friends list. They are all there logging and stuff but no one comments on anything or writes statuses about how they're doing so I feel a bit alone! HELP!
  • I used to let the whole world know when I was a diet, then when it didn't go very well I just felt silly. You also get people commenting on what you eat like if you let yourself have a treat they're like "Aren't you on a diet?" So now I keep it to myself and just let people comment on the fact that I'm looking slimmer, I…
  • I hate girls who act like complete and utter b*tches to really lovely guys, making them lose faith in nice girls so that they are such hard work for the next girls they feel something for. PUT DOWN YOUR BARRIERS, I'M NOT A PSYCHO! :( Probs over thinking it - shock from me. Boys hurt my brain.
  • I used to cut, and starve myself, and scratch/punch myself.. I was afraid of counsellors, hated the thought of them, tried it once and it confirmed my hatred. I don't know what happened, but I just stopped. Don't even know what I did. I guess my life just took a turn for the better, or maybe I realised it wasn't so bad in…
  • Okay slightly controversial 'cause she's a porn star, but my ex pointed her out to me saying in his opinion she has a perfect body, and I have to say she is pretty realistic for me... I see girls with the most amazing flat, muscley tums and think "WOW".. but I love curves, and I don't want to be muscley, to me that's not…
  • I had an ED.. Although at a healthy weight now and recovered for the most part, I will never lose those ED tendencies or thoughts. Constantly battling with myself, persuading my self it's healthy to eat certain things, and often when dieting find myself slipping back. But MFP is great and there is so much suppor that I've…
  • :) North East girl here.. Teesside to be more precise! Student at Loughborough Uni so live there most of the year. Feel free to add!
  • Only to my niece whenever I am off uni. She's 16 months and so much fun! I love kids, I used to teach 3 - 7 year olds performing arts, that was a challenge! So jealous that you're a Nanny!
  • Haha, does that mean people should wake up every 2 hours to eat some food? Just the thought of that makes me feel sick. But I like your precision ;) milliseconds?
  • Well I'm 5'7, which i like.. quite tall, but not gigantic! And I'm an E cup.. so I guess I would happily go down to a D, but, it's what I get complimented on most.. So I'm pretty happy with both. It's the rest of me I want to change!!!
  • By the sounds of it I need to take my earphones out!!! There is always a bit of an "atmosphere" when I go up to the freeweights section.. but so far, no being hit on has commenced :( haha :P I don't always look great at the gym though, as I'm there, busting my *kitten*, sweating and going bright red.. whilst some already…
  • Sorry, I missed this! But yes, we have established that I do :) amazing that you know it :)
  • Hehe! This is amusing :) No, I'm from England actually. x
  • The trainer at bootcamp tonight, whilst telling us that the kind of workout we did is best for fat burning and weight loss.. "Not that any of you should be losing any weight".. Sweet, but a lie!
