1. Numbers on a scale are just numbers. They are, at best, a vague indicator of how you are doing. 2. TAKE MEASUREMENTS! This far more accurate, especially as you gain dense muscle and lose the fluff. 3. Your clothes are a good measuring tool - better than scales and more satisfying. Are your clothes fitting better than…

Especially when I'm working nights, I will have the urge to binge, I will even start to feel a little crazy and desperate. I have since made sure that if I'm going to binge, the only thing I can binge on is celery sticks or carrots...something where no matter how much i eat it won't mess up my goal. That and I stock up on…

You can add me too. I felt so...exposed...when I first made my food diary public, then I realized the person who judges me most is me ;) Accountability has helped me shape up a little bit more, though :)

This. lolol

I hear you. Have you tried the vitamins you mix in water and drink? Also, I have had many patients switch to gummy vitamins or other children's vitamin because they are easier on the belly...

Will do. I packed not only tuna tonight, but salmon too ;) And a bunch of celery. I'm worried though, as I have already eaten my 'snack', and it's not even close to 'lunch' yet, and I'm HUNGRY... :/ will power, will power, will power!!!!!!!!!!!

One moment at a time. Stop before you eat something, and ask yourself if it is truly worth the caloric price. Every time. Small snacks so you don't get over hungry and over indulge. Good luck, and will power to you ;)

My sleep is about as crappy as my current diet lol I frequently wake up due to sounds, lights, etc., and I have a CPAP I'm supposed to be using (I haven't been recently due to a slight cold, and I am paying for it, believe me). My shrink and the sleep doc both say I have sleep disorders related to shift work as well as the…

So true about the crackers. I guess I was concentrating more on the calories rather than the content. So difficult to do nutrition properly!

Thanks everyone! I love the 'broccoli test', and I'm gonna have to pack more proteins....thinking those tuna packets?
-
Thank you :) I got distracted by work, and now that I'm having down time again, I don't have that panicky hunger feeling again. I do, however, need to pee...again. After my next 32 oz of fluids, I will have some of that tea I packed myself... :)

Me too lol

Fresh fruits and veggies. I love the tuna creation thingys...protein-licious and flavorful :)

Go take a dump. Bet the numbers come down then :)

"If you wouldn't talk to your friend that way, then don't even start talking that way to yourself." That is an amazing, wonderful thing to say. as to the original post: Retail therapy really does work. So do before/after pictures. I am in awe of how far you've come, how strong you've had to be. Don't ever give up <3

This. Lol. But instead of 'I hate my ex-wife', I hold my ex-husband in contempt and I am determined to accomplish the goals he set for himself but never did (Chicago Marathon). And instead of getting laid more often, I want people to be jealous of my boyfriend that he has such a hot girlfriend. everything else though. Yes.…

Thanks all :) And did I mention I work nights, so it's even more complicated logging? lol I will try and remember all that I ate just for tracking purposes, to keep the habit up. I need more good habits, anyways ;)

I definitely need help. I have several issues on which I'm not sure how to tackle. 1) I tore some cartilage in my left wrist, and have been limited to what I can do work out-wise. Suggestions would be appreciated for working out the upper body (I have a PT test in a few weeks, need to be able to pass push ups!) 2) I also…

I try and stick with low glycemic index foods when I can (as I type that I realized I needed a more definite list, and found good ones here: http://www.lifetimefatloss.com/glycemic-index-list-of-foods.html ) . Between this and preplanning better with some 'just in case' snacks, hopefully I can do better...

Thanks, everyone! Will give it a try. Not cravings, by your definition, plain old hunger. Gnaws my insides and I end up eating whatever is closest to hand...I like contingency plans, think I'll make a few :) Thanks again!!!
