Today is day 50 of logging! That has gone really quick! Here are some of my NSV: - I went from 6.7km/h sprints to 7.2km/hr sprints in C25K. I am on Week 2 - but I am keeping myself there due to ITB issues in my right leg and 90sec run/2min walk feels right at this time. - Up to 3.5km in 30 mins in C25K - a *kitten*load…

Fantastic work! Congrats on the 89lb loss! Those hills and the view is breathtaking. You are lucky to live somewhere you can hike with views like that. And the doggy is cuuuuuute!

Wow. I'm in awe! Congratulations! You are a true inspiration - especially to your gorgeous daughter!

I have a few... - increased my speed on sprints in C25K! Felt great! 😊😊😊😊 - ate pizza for dinner last night and didn't feel guilty. I measured out the pieces, logged it and absolutely enjoyed every bite. I came under my net calories for the day, however I was convinced that the extra salt would cause a slight increase. It…

Congratulation on your great loss! You have the right attitude, tools and thinking toward your weightloss journey. You have been educating yourself on what works and what doesn't - I can bet all my wordly possessions that your friends and family haven't been and are basing their beliefs on celebrities, The Biggest Loser…

Emotional eating from having two small kids, working full time, husband who had been unemployed and then studying for about 3 years and then working contract-to-contract, and being the sole bread winner. I stopped caring for myself. Worse, I stopped loving myself. I stopped all exercise and just ate whatever, and whenever…

You are my soulmate!!!!!!

Kale and quinoa. I detest spinach, so kale was a no-go for me. Quinoa is just "sad couscous" to me. I don't feel sustained when I eat quinoa. And I feel sad because I know couscous tastes so much better

You woman are an inspiration <3 Wow - just think, you lost 122lb in approx 91 weeks - that is just amazing. What a triumph. What an achievement! Can ask your SW, CW and height?

Do you know what helped me during my PhD? Getting healthy. I know exactly what you're going through. Exercise and a great diet helps with the stress of a PhD. Actually it helps in all facets of life! Welcome to MFP. The community is great and there is LOTS of info on this forum - so get started on your "getting healthy"…

This one is the one mistake I make each time and hence why my 55457547848 attempts at weightloss have previously ended abruptly. My weight was hovering for about 7 days, but I felt lighter and my clothes were a lot looser each day during the "hover". I was telling myself that I am losing weight - my clothes are NOT LIEING…

@jryepin93 - Just beautiful. Your post almost made me cry because everything you said was from the heart. You have a beautiful soul <3 <3 <3

You hit the nail on the head. That is exactly how I felt reading that article. I personally don't do progress pics, but I LOVE seeing them here. Why? Because of a little thing call INSPIRATION. This is what I love about this community - we celebrate success and we rally around/encourage those who are struggling. What this…

You did the right thing. As others have said, not all personal trainers are like that. I have a PT and he's great. We don't do weigh-ins because I point-blank refuse too. Why? Because I weigh myself, and log the weight, everyday, am an adult and shoulder the weightloss responsibility. If I lie, I lie to myself. I told him…

My father in law was up-to-date with his tetanus shot. He fell over, grazing his knee really really badly. My MIL was pushing him to go see a doctor and get a booster. He refused. Guess what happened next? He got tetanus. Had he gone to the doctor, he would have a booster and would have been ok. Go to the doctor....

Last night, my personal trainer looked at me, during our session, and said "wow - you've lost weight and are toning up nicely! That's awesome! I'm so proud". He went on saying he wanted to take photos of us together, every 2 months as progress photos. I agreed because a) he has a business to maintain and it's great…

I wanted to give up people, but apparently that's "socially unacceptable" 😂. @samiam4114 - I did something similar, except go to all the Sunday services during Lent. Was the best Lenten ever. I'm goung with 5 min gratitude journal for 40 days. It's not giving up per se, but adding in more spirituality and mindfulness.

I got rid of my WW scales and replaced it with a Garmin one. The WW one was too innacurrate...it would give me 3 different readings, all about 0.5-1kg difference. Garmin will read the same weight each time each time I measure. And it has a wifi capability that connects with MFP

Look at it this way: You stopped at ONLY one bottle ;) :p B)

One month on MFP! Current NSVs: - I feel better - Clothes fit A LOT better. - I am stronger and my fitness is returning. - I am doing really well with my 1600cal net , except I go to close to 2000cal net on Saturdays. - I love love love my PT sessions 💗💗💗 - My right ankle has stopped hurting. - Increasing my daily protein…

Hi! I'm 37, Aussie mother of 2 active school-aged boys, working full time. I am working towards losing 100+lb and get back to my pre-kids weight of 139lb (63kg). I will reevaluate my goal weight when I get there 😀 My youngest son was born 2013....time to get rid of the unnecessary weight for good. I have a personal trainer…

I'm 5'6" (167.5cm) and my goal weight is 63kg (139lb). Many moons ago, I got down to 58kg. This was previous to MFP and I didn't know how to properly maintain my weight. But I found 60-63kg felt right for me. When I get to my goal weight, I will reevaluate. I may try to get lower, but I personally doubt it.

@springlering62 - I love your post. I can feel your personality through your words and it's all goodness. You have no idea how much I needed to read and absorb a positive-filled post today. Thank you! As for the yoga-instructor's daughter - she didn't think you'd succeed and thus doesn't know how to deal with the fact that…

@shanelhall993 - I've been there. Since 2014. And each time I regretted not sticking with the journey. The weight loss journey is a wonderful one. I've been there and been successful. The journey brings you to dark places, but most importantly, bring you to so many new and wonderful places where you experience things your…
