  • Hi, i'm new to the group. Yesterday I completed day 1 of week 1 and surprisingly I did a little better than I thought I would. Though I did hit the pause button a few times lol Anyone feel free to add me not many of my current friends on here are doing T25 Age:23 SW: 219 GW: 165
  • I'll be trying this tonight, sounds great!
  • Just checking in to see how the program is going for you guys. I think i'm really gonna like this program. I'm already down a few pounds and I've lost half an inch around my waist. Definitely making some strength gains and i'm starting to love squats i'm finally gonna get the *kitten* I've always wanted:laugh:
  • I actually cook more now that I've started my weight loss journey. I can have all the woods that I would have gotten at a take out place or restaurant with a lot les calories. I've gotten pretty adventurous with my cooking I love trying new recipes. I've been eating really well preparing things myself.
  • From what I've gathered these last couple of months it's pretty hard to get a true definition of "clean eating" according to who you ask the answers will always differ. The best advice I could give you is to stick to as many unprocessed foods as you can. As far as protein is concerned any lean meats are good ( chicken,…
  • I say just go for it, don't stress too much. Have your night out and pick up where you left off, one night of drinking won't derail the progress you have made. If I had to give up alcohol i'd probably lose my s**t, a little bar hopping never hurt anyone.
  • I'm pretty sure it's not, I've certainty never heard it in that context, I always thought it just meant girls

  • Me and my sister are gonna do a little shopping and then go out to dinner.....possibly a late night gym run cause I've had one too many heart shaped doughnuts today lol
  • I really like dreads on most people you just have to make sure you maintain them, I love guys with very nicely kempt dreads. Also if you decide you don't want them anymore you don't have to cut them off, I know people who have actually brushed their dreads out starting from the front of their head. It is a gradual process…
  • Do some recipe hunting online it's helped me out a lot, you'd be surprised what little variations can make a big difference. I've found most of my recipes on pintrest, yummly and allrecipes.com. I experiment a lot too, I just go in the kitchen see what i'm working with and go for something new
  • The calorie limit MFP gives you is what you can eat daily and still lose weight. This doesn't include exercise, which is why some don't exercise at all and still lose weight. when you do exercise you get some of those calories back. Focus on meeting the goal for your net calories but like others have been saying MFP tends…
  • Hi i'm Kierra and I've been working on my eating habits a few months now. I can't seem to get a straight definition of what clean eating is but I have been focused on eating more whole non-processed foods. I would say i'm anywhere from a 6-7 and have come a long way from my previous eating habits.
  • I use pintrest, it's been really easy for me to find healthy recipes there
  • I honesly have no idea. I know for sure I wonna get out of the double digits but once I do I guess i'll stop at what ever looks good on me
  • My diary is open to my friends and I would love some feedback and would be glad to give some in return. Sending you a request now
  • Dang that sucks but I guess i'll just give it a try since I have already paid for it at the least maybe the tea will at least taste good

  • Wow 8 pounds is great, your diet is the biggest part of the battle so if you've gotten that under control you're certainly off to a good start. Sending a request now, a good support system makes this journey so much easier:smile:

  • I was on the same boat too and could never stick to anything long term. I've really been loving the switch to whole foods after a couple of weeks I rarely crave all the over processed stuff I was eating before. (except for the occasional pizza, that's one thing I just can't give up lol) I'm constantly searching for new…
  • I'd have to agree with the 2 people above me, you really have to figure out what works for you. don't worry about one bad day especially if you have such a good reason to celebrate. When I go over on one day I just cut a few calories from the rest of the week or add in some additional exercise to balance things out. Oh,…
  • Welcome to MFP, certainly nothing wrong with loving food i'm pretty sure most of the people on here would say the same thing. It's ok to have the things you crave just in moderation. I'm fairly new to this too but there's a lot of great info on the forum that'll get you started. Good luck:smile:
  • Is that a giant pharrot (sp) lol definitely friending you
