  • Ahh...Coonabarabran. When I was young, our family used to holiday to Jindabyne every year and Coonabarabran was out stop over place on the drive. I remember it was always exciting because we'd see rabbits there and we'd get take away. I'm from Bray Park in Brisbane. Really trying hard to get back into running. I did 2 1/2…
  • I live in Brissy too and I really want to find somewhere that I can go on a really long walk/hike with the dogs. Every weekend I try to think of somewhere I can go and end up doing the same old loop at home. I don't mind it being hilly, just don't want it to be rough, I would like it to be walking rather than rock…
  • I'm in Bray Park.... It's like there's this secret MFP community all around me...

  • I agree. We now buy bulk lean meat from the butcher and package it up into single servings and buy fruit and vege from the markets and that's our dinners sorted for cheap. Breakfasts for me is just eggs. lunches are salads I make. Now I'm eating out WAY less is saving me a bundle as well as those "nice" dinners (ie high…
  • I've got my work colleagues, family, friends all using MFP. It's way better when you have a heap of people to keep an eye on. Now, when I get my phone out to kill some time, I check MFP before I check Facebook and my emails.
  • Yep. I'd have to agree with you on that one! :p
  • I've thought the same thing. ie. Is the calories burnt during exercise the calories above BMR, or total calories burnt by the body during that hour. Then I thought, if that small amount of calories (ie. the BMR during my hour of exercise) matters, I probably eating too many calories.
  • I've been using the Nike+ running app. But it crashed Tuesday night at the end of my 7.5km run (longest run) and so it isn't recorded :(
  • I had the low calorie jelly last night (1/2 the pack which is actually 2 serves) and 2 strawberries cut up in with it. Awesome dessert and only 20 calories. You have to make the jelly in advance though.
  • My goal is 1880 and I rarely eat anywhere near that on weekdays. I have 3 scrambled eggs for breakfast, a spinach, chicken breast, chickpea, cucumber, avo salad for lunch and approx 200g rib fillet and 3 veg for dinner (a mix between carrot, broccoli, cauliflower, sweet corn and potato) I also have fruit, usually bananas…
