You had to resort to that? WOW! What is this world coming too????

Her Brother was a classmate of mine and we had an appartment after graduation. She flew in from the West coast and spent a day with us waiting for her Mom to get her and bring her home. She walked in, about noon ,and I offered her a beer and she declined. So I said, "What are you, some sorta prude?" But I know I'm an…

Get back to work, get back to losing, get back on the bike, reach my goal.

I have a dirty mind...;) That being said, my "jerking" reaction has nothing to do with my knee...:D

Heh...He said Boobs! When I was in the Navy my B-I-L and his new wife were visiting. One of our friends who was "Voluptous" stopped to say hi and my new S-I-L said "WowW Isn't she a little fat to be in the Navy?" Um, NO! Yeah there were plenty of fat people in the Navy, but just because you have large Boobs (there they are…

Don't eat the calories MFP says you burn...if you're like me they are WAY off. And food will trump exercise in a second. Make sure you're weight and activity level are correct in a good quality HRM, and then use those calories burned. Plus be BRUTALLY honest about the portion sizes you are eating. Good luck and I hope it…

Don't buy the Pop...if it's not there it's harder to grab. Find a local running/cycling/triathlon store and see if they have any group workouts. Being around others is a great way to stay motivated...and make friends in a new town.

Try brewing some green tea but don't add ANY sweeteners. It has about 1/4 the caffeine of coffee, so it'll give you a little. Plus it's good for weight loss. Also, the artificial sweeteners in diet sodas are incrediblly addictive, and they mess with your brain. So that might be contributing to your headache issue too.…

Alton Brown on Good Eats also made Homemade Chocolate syrup. I've made it before, and they're right the taste is SO much better. If you're in a pinch, or you can't cook to save yourself...you can roll with NesQuick syrup. It's the only mass produced, easy to find chocolate syrup that isn't HFCS base. They actually still…

I'd bet he meant added sugar, processed sugar, white sugar, etc. The sugar that shows up from fruits, veggies, and natural foods isn't what he was talking about. And yes, that's why all the studies show that sugar free/artificial sweeteners actually CAUSE weight gain...they make you crave more.

Dietary (what you eat) cholesterol has no affect on serum (blood levels) of cholesterol. However, eating processed carbs (white flour, white sugar, etc) will affect your triglycerides and LDL cholesterol. Eat your eggs (they are proven to help people lose and keep off weight) and cut out more of the processed carbs from…

No matter how slow you're going, you're still lapping everyone on the couch!

If you're not workout longer than 90 minutes you don't need anything special other than the last meal you ate. If you're going past 90 minutes, at about 60 minutes you'll want to add a little carb/electrolyte. Post, just eat a normal balanced meal, unless you do some serious muscle damage (heavy lifting or very high…

Walls and stairs work. So do negative reps...get into the "girlie" push up position and then lower yourself to the ground as slowly as you can. fight for all you are worth. Then get up and do it again, and again, and again...until you physically cannot control the rate of descent any longer. do that every 3rd day for a…

So you'd rather look toned, fit, athletic, and slightly muscular than like a leather wrapped skeleton that can barely hold itself up? No, that makes you sane...and hot in my book...;)

LOVE the 4k plus miles of cycling already this year. AMAZING!!!

Doing the same workout a week or two later and crushing it. Seeing that improvement in performance brings a smile to my face.

Anything natural is a great snack. Cherries are excellent, as they are also full of saliclates (sp?) which is the same as the active ingredient in asprin. So eat them, go workout hard, and feel no pain...well maybe not NO pain, but less...;)

You can't choose where the weight will come off. Just work hard, and know that eventually it will come off. Plus I thought women were always happier with losses from the bottom and having the top stay the same...;)

I have the 310xt...which you can swim with too. LOVE it! Garmin makes good stuff.

Use a weight you can lift 20-25 times. It will exhaust the muscle, burn calories, and not add size to the muscle. Avoid using weights that you can't lift more than 15 times.

Make sure you are watching your diet...and be BRUTALLY honest about what and how much you are eating. And stay away from sports drinks unless you're going longer than 90 minutes. Oh...and have FUN!!!

Anyone can do a straddle split...once...8^O
