Maybe give vinegar and baking soda a try. Sprinkle baking soda around the bottom (a few mm thick) and pour 1/4-1/2 cup white vinegar in. Do it in the sink in case it overflows. Leave it to soak to get rid of the smell. I make sure to rinse mine after use and chuck it in the dishwasher, I've never had any problems.

You look incredible. :)

My husband was talking to me about this the other day, apparently the guy who got the record got 16:41 or something. Based on that I would be pretty happy with 41mins! And that is awesome, congrats on getting through it.

The best. :D Couldn't have done it without them. :)

Hey! Thanks! I did my best to adhere to the macros they recomment for each phase, and I ate 1700-2100 calories a day, and made sure to get 1g of protein per pound of weight every day (missed a few, but did alright overall). Looking back over my diary is is pretty much an even three way split between carbs, fats, and…

I finished p90x on Saturday, first round, and I got great results. I started my weight loss with Jillian but I wasn't getting the muscle tone I wanted with her workouts so I decided to try Tony. I would not have been able to complete p90x if I hadn't done Jillian first, and changed my attitude toward working out thanks to…

This might be worth looking at, as a starting point at least: http://articles.elitefts.com/training-articles/your-body-is-a-barbell-no-dumbbells-no-barbells-no-problem/ Good luck!

It depends on what you want out if it. 6 week 6 pack has a lot more cardio than Killer Abs, which really focuses a lot on core work. If you have weight to lose, 6 week 6 pack will probably do a better job of getting you there. If you want a workout that is targeted, go for Killer Abs. But remember that targeted core…

What was your average HR according to your HRM? You can plug that into a heart rate based calorie calculator for another estimate to compare it with, to see which is more likely to be accurate. Just google "heart rate based calorie calculator".

Week 12 is in the books!!! I am so proud of myself for getting this far! Recovery week officially starts on Monday and then we will see what my final results are. :)
-
Glad to see you are getting back into it after the accident. Don't be too hard on yourself though! Your body is still recovering and it will take time to get back to where you were and get your mojo back. But you know you can do it because you have done it before!
-
Did you start up again yet, BryGuy? Glad to see you back at it! I was wondering what happened to you. I'm going to add your new account now!

I am on Day 83 of p90x and during the program I have lost 3-4% body fat and several inches but only lost a pound, all while eating 1800-2200 calories a day (5'3", 114lb). You can do it if you follow the right program. Friend me if you want, we have similar goals. I will be posting my final results and pics at the end of…

The BMF claims to be 95% accurate, so if you are eating 1200 and burning 2900 you are creating way too much of a deficit. It depends on how much weight you have to lose, but if you are less than 30ish lbs from your goal you should be looking at losing 1lb a week, and then when you get to about 20lbs from goal aim for 0.5lb…

If you want to add your exercise calories, do, but just eat to your "goal" number, which should be set at your TDEE according to your pst. Ignore what MFP says your "remaining calories" are for the day. My goal is 2000 calories a day. Right now after my morning workout and breakfast my diary says 2367 calories remaining,…

I'm 5'3" and I can walk (briskly) up until around 4.5 before I would need to start jogging, but then I increase the speed to 5.0+ to jog because I don't like the "in between" speed.
-
Also 5'3", I started around 10:30 and now run 9:30, aiming to get down to 8:30min/mile pace for a 5k. Edited to add: I don't know my exact time when I was still in the run-walk-run stage, but I think around 14mins. And I also run faster outside than on the treadmill.

People on this thread have not had a lot of luck!!! Are you alright?? You have been having a rough couple of weeks, make sure you take the time to regroup and then you can get back to it and give 100%. This is not over, it is just a set back and you will get through to the end, you just have to want it badly enough. For…

Good luck, I hope you have a speedy recovery!

As long as your getting healthy!

That is so awesome! Congratulations!!! Be so proud of your achievements, especially knowing that you did what so many others could not do. :)

Congratulations, Kel!!!

There is no way you would be able to gain 31 pounds of muscle so you will see the scale move toward your goal as long as you are eating the right number of calories and working out, even if you are doing very heavy weights.

There are two cardio days, Plyometrics and Kenpo X. I don't think you need to add extra cardio unless you find yourself missing it. I do an additional workout sometimes but mostly stick with the prgram as outlined. There is a doubles routine that means adding additional cardio (they say Cardio X but you could do anything)…
