I reached my goal weight in May but wasn't happy with my body composition so I thought I would give p90x a go. I finished up the program on Saturday, and that final Yoga X felt wonderful. The last thing Tony said to me was “Thanks for Bringing It”. And I brought it!! I only missed one workout in the entire program. Here are my results!
Measurements:
Weight: Down 2.2lb to 112.8lb (I was already at goal, so I was eating at maintenance)
Waist: Down 2.5” to 25.5”
Hips: Down 1.5” to 34”
Chest: Down 1” to 31”
BF%: Down 4%, to somewhere between 16-20% depending on the method used (but the change is same with different methods)
Fit Test:
Resting HR: 61bpm (unchanged)
Pullups: Still can’t do any, but I have something to work towards!
Pushups (toes): Increased from 10 to 21
Bicep curls: Increased from 13 to 32 with 10lb
In & Outs: Increased from 31 to 72
Vertical Jump: Increased from 10.5” to 14”
Toe Touch: Increased from +1.5” to +5” (thank you, Yoga X!)
Wall Squat: Increased from 1:30 to 2:44

Bring It!

Can you also put up a pic of that final bicep flex vs your 'before' photo before weight loss? that'd be one inspirational back to back because you've done one large journey.0 -

may I just throw in that your posture improved A LOT!
at the start you wear leaning towards your right side (thats when a lot of people normally say: you have a bad scoliosis) and now you hardly do!0 -

Hey! Thanks! I did my best to adhere to the macros they recomment for each phase, and I ate 1700-2100 calories a day, and made sure to get 1g of protein per pound of weight every day (missed a few, but did alright overall). Looking back over my diary is is pretty much an even three way split between carbs, fats, and protein for the first two phases, with a little more carbs in phase three (but not quite the 60% they suggest).
I agree about my posture! I noticed a big difference in my photos at the end of phase two. An unexpected but very welcome change! I swear I am taller now.0 -

The best.Couldn't have done it without them.
