Also some stores have pants that are made for people whose dimensions are a little uneven. I have a small waist and large hips. If I buy pants to fit my hips I have to go a size up and they're baggy on my waist. But if I buy pants in "curvy" sizes I go down a size and it fits my hips an my waist. Also keep in mind every…

They are accurate for me. I lost my first 30 pounds eating why my Fitbit gives me, and now as I head to the next 30 down I will again.
-
I went from 225 to 195 (I'm 5'1") and I went from a 20 to a 16.
-
There are times I put mine in my pocket - pushing a cart has never counted for me, so I always do. If I'm stuffing envelopes at work, I put it in my pocket because it counts TOO much.

Wellbutrin has always killed my appetite for the first few weeks, and then been totally fine - no help in loss, but no gain, either. I started back on it yesterday. Wellbutrin has always been very helpful for my depression and helps with my anxiety, as well.

I eat when I'm hungry. Today, that meant I got up at 7:30 but am just now eating breakfast. Sometimes I eat around 8 before I leave the house.
-
What a great accomplishment! Congrats!

I have another 40 pounds to lose, and I'm at a 500 cal per day deficit because any more than that and I find it hard to stick with. I'd rather lose slower and consistently than faster but burn out and be miserable.

I am in stage 3 kidney failure, but because of a genetic disease (polycystic kidney disease)
-
Yup. One bad day doesn't have to derail anything. Eat a lighter dinner, go for a walk if you can, if not, log it, and move on. A slightly smaller loss that week (or even a gain) is not the end of the world.

I am headed back in, after popping back up to 206 - I'm back down to 201 and headed to 180 to keep my transplant team happy (I will probably lose more than that, but 180 is my current goal because that's what I need to be at to get on the kidney transplant list.)

I don't do cheat days, but there'll be days I eat at maintenance or even above, because I'm not going to miss out on holidays or special meals with family/friends just because I'm trying to lose weight. If I lose less that week, or even see a small gain, the benefit to my social life and well-being is far more important.

It's probably water weight. I'd wait a few weeks and average it out before deciding if adjustments are necessary.

If your goal according to MFP is 1640 calories, that's how much you should eat. They're estimating that you burn 1640+whatever you wanted to lose. So if you were set to 1# loss per week, it assumes you burn 2140 a day. If you have it sent to 2# a week it assumes you burn 2640 a day, etc.

(To summarize, the actual volume of Boob in a 38C is not the same volume of boob in a 44C)
-
Keep in mind that if your band size has shrunk, your cup size _has_ shrunk. A 38DD means that your band measurement is 38", and your around-the-boob measurement is 43". If you were a 44DD before you lost weight, that means your band measurement was 44", and your around-the-boob measurement was 49" If you had gone down to a…

I think it's a really individual thing - I lost 30 pounds eating every calorie it gave me, and am now working on the next 20.
-
I eat when I'm hungry. Sometimes that means breakfast with my coffee at 7:30am, sometimes it means breakfast with my 2nd cup of coffee at 9am at work, sometimes it means breakfast during my "morning snack" time around 10:30 or 11, sometimes it means lunch.

Mine's finally working.
-
Nothing here. :( Hopefully this fix is rolling out and it should be working for everyone soon.
-
For me, walking means I can eat more, which means I can stick with my eating plan better. So it definitely helps.

My steps still aren't coming from Fitbit to here. If this keeps up, I might as well just start using the fitbit app to track my food. I much prefer MFP, but this is getting ridiculous.
-
I noticed that my food is moving over to Fitbit, but my steps still aren't coming over here. So half fixed?
-
Thanks! Hopefully it'll be fixed before dinner so I know how much I can eat :)
-
I haven't given up anything. I eat less of it, but I haven't given up anything.
-
As long as you're logging the calories, coffee won't matter any more than having an equal amount of calories of anything else.
-
I've consistently lost weight eating back all the calories my Fitbit gives me. From entered exercise, those seem inflated so I eat back half.
-
I don't. It's a vacation. I make smart choices, but I'm not going to spend my vacation angsting about food.
-
First, as others have said, are you hungry, or do you just want to eat? For me, if it's not either a mealtime, or my stomach is actually growling, I don't eat. I don't eat because I remembered I have something tasty in the fridge and now I want it, which was a huge issue for me before. Also, although I have enough to lose…

Week days I do breakfast-snack-lunch-snack-dinner-maybe a snack. Weekends? Well, put it this way - it's 5pm and the only thing I've eaten today is an ice cream cone at the zoo. I forget to eat on the weekends. (Don't worry, we're having burgers for dinner, I'll get my calories in.)
