5'1" 201 and in a 16 that I was wearing at 193. However it also depends on the store. I still can't get into Target 16s but I was wearing Lane Bryant 20s at 225. So from 225 to 193 I went from a 20 to a 16 but in some stores that might still be an 18.

Yes, it changes by intensity.

I'm set to lightly active and at 5400 steps my fitbit has already given me an extra 80 calories. I lost 30 pounds a couple years ago eating back my fitbit adjustments. I learned that I am FAR from sedentary, but I'd been trying to eat like I was. I'm set to lightly active now, eat back most of the fitbit adjustments, and…

I used to say the same thing until I started drinking water more regularly. I got used to it. But yes, drinking water used to make my stomach upset. I can drink a liter of water in an hour or two now, no problem. You just have to push past it.

A cup is 8 ounces.

After having doctor after doctor tell me that the only way I could lose weight was on a 1200 calorie diet (which was not sustainable for me at 200 pounds) I finally started losing weight when I realized I could eat closer to 1600-1700 and still lose weight if I stayed active.

I have designated morning and afternoon snack times, and i don't eat outside of that. I also only bring enough food for each day, so even if I eat "early", that just means there isn't anything later.
-
IN 6 months I ate back all my fitbit calories and lost 30 pounds. I'm back on the wagon again and eating most of them (sometimes I'm just not hungry for 2k calories a day) but I had no problem eating my fitbit calories and losing.

They say that diet drinks make you crave sugar more, but since I'm in charge of what goes in my mouth, I will continue to have the occasional diet pepsi.
-
I have days where I walk enough steps to get 2k, although I average around 1700-1800. I'm 5'1" and at 203 right now and I'm losing just fine.

I leave room for an evening snack in my calories. If I don't need anything, great. If I do, the calories are available.

As far as rules, my parents were okay. If I didn't clean my plate, the only snack I could have later was fruit, but they didn't force me to finish it or withhold food later or anything. I had a friend whose parents would put her plate in the fridge and that's what she got for every meal until she finished it. The biggest…

I've been tossing a couple tablespoons of avocado into my salads to bulk it up a bit.

I don't schedule cheat days/meals, but on holidays or special occasions, I'm going to have that cake or meal out. I try to log it as best I can, but I'm not going to miss out on special times with family/friends. Skinny people go out to eat sometimes, too. So I lose a little less that week. Oh well. This is a lifetime…

I'm 5'1" From 225 to 193 I went down from a 20 to a 16, but I'm back up to 203 and still in the 16s so I probably could have dropped sooner than I did.

I eat breakfast, but not right when I get up. I get up around 7 and get to work around 9, and usually eat my breakfast around 9:30.

I can fluctuate 3-5 pounds in a matter of hours. There's no "this is exactly how much I weigh." It's a range.

What frustrates me with pasta is I'm not cooking one serving of pasta, I'm cooking several, for my family. So it's weigh the raw pasta, cook it, weigh the cooked pasta, figure out what % of it I put on my plate - sometimes I cook mine in a separate pan just to make things easier.
-
Okay, this is a fantastic idea and I'm going to do that!
-
I always prelog dinner. It helps me know what I can eat the rest of the day. Right now I have breakfast tomorrow pre-logged because I know what I'm having.
-
I would drop down to a pound a week and see how satisfied you feel there.
-
Being able to go out to eat without spending an hour going through online menus.

I feel you. I lost 30 pounds between October of 2014 and July of 2015. My MIL was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer in NOvember of 2014, and late last year and into early this year, caring for her took priority over watching what I ate and getting my steps in, and I gained 13 of those back. I'm back on the wagon now, and lost…

I don't know about that one, but with my Flex I just put it in my pocket. It's fine.

There's not much you can do. My boss is on one crash diet after another because she thinks counting steps and tracking food is "too much work" but then I lost a bunch of weight and she's right where she started, and now she's jealous of me. It's her problem. She doesn't want to put in the work.
-
I, too, work snacks into my day. I always save a little bit, unless I know I'm having a big dinner.
-
Yup. I have MFP set to "sedentary" but most days I get 10k steps, which isn't sedentary, so it gives me more calories. It's the same calories I'd have if I had my self set to a different activity level, but I like seeing it at sedentary and then getting the extras added, because some days I have lazy days or I get stuck at…

I have days where I don't eat much at work and eat 900-1000 for dinner. It hasn't seemed to be a problem for me.
-
This. I'm set to sedentary on MFP but I earn about 500-600 calories a day via my fitbit because I walk 10-11k steps a day. I'd rather do it this way and get less extra if I have a lazy day.

I make my rice with nothing but water in a rice cooker, and then add whatever afterwards.
