  • Go to your My Home tab and click on the goals sub-category. You should find a 'change goals' button, there select the custom option and click continue. Then you can change it there. It is recommended to follow MFP, but if you feel like it or if your doctor/nutritionist advices it then go on ahead!
  • I do, well not my tea, I don't drink tea. but say I make a crystal light lemonade bottle for whatever reason. I log the packet as food, and drink half I up a cup of water. Don't see why it should'nt be that way. But It dosen't make a difference. Still drink 5 cups at most.
  • Almost went through the same odeal with my brother. Lost 5ish pounds since I started and instead of supportive he still calls me fat, (fatter than everything else), everyday. It's annoying and hard to know people around you don't support you (That could've came out better). But thats what MFP is here for. :D "I took the…
  • From what I've seen people say. MFP calculates how many calories you should eat, than adds a deficit to that. Thats your goal calories. If you don't meet that goal it could be harmful to your body / excercice, putting it in starvation mode. I haven't felt much different or worse and I've been eating slightly under but you…
  • The Decoy Bride is a pretty good comedy, it is part romance also. But it stars David Tennant, thats a win. I don't watch a lot of Movies mainly tv shows.
  • Lacey (Olympia) right here! Born in Oregon, raised in Ellensburg. Love our state.
  • Whovian, Slayer, Pokemon Master, Hylian, Hunter, Plumber, Warehouse Agent, Time Agent, whatever else here.
  • Well, just tried my first bowl of Old Fashioned oatmeal. Put on the stove top and also added peanut butter with banana slices, and some cinamon. Honestly I could only eat 1/4 of it. I forgot to turn it down thus I did loose some liquid so they didn't asorb all they needed. I'll try again in a few days.
  • I went over 150-ish for my first 2 days, now I am usually 300-500 under. I could eat some more but might not be enough to reach it. How do you do it, just eat a lot when you don't feel like it? Also MFP goal or TDEE?
  • Looks like a lot of oatmeal fans. But it seems for the good stuff, it takes a while to cook. Is cooking when you have time and microwaving/re-heating for breakfast fine / do-able?
  • Well I wouldn't agree with that but stepping down 30 pounds is still a good big step. If they feel they should loose more or a doctor says so, ok then they can continue. I go by the MFP goals which is 1820 for me. I used a TDEE calculator and it gave me 3163! I haven't even been meeting my MFP goals. Whats the 20% though,…
  • Wow I see that theres a lot of support. I know to take it slow, which is why I decided maybe a week I'll change something. Like last week I decided to snack on a rice cake instead of a piece of chocolate. The former really feels much better. When I started I was going over my calorie allowance that MFP set for me, but…
  • Also live to eat. Personally from I found out what helps is to try to fill your days with activities to try to distract yourself. Usually when I have no plans, I love to eat, always "hungry". Though if I'm out doing stuff I'm not craving food as much. And find out you can usually live without food, so hard though.
  • Oh my the links! haha, thanks for that. I think i'll stick mfp's default system for my log ins, might look to differ in the future. So it suggested I go with a 1820 calorie plan, and I'm doing 30min-1hr 3-4 times a week on a ellipictal or leisure biking. Once I contunie that I'll look into strength. Can't wait!
  • Probably because walking isn't that regarded as a high calarie burner. Used to do a walking class and we walked 2 miles everyday. I didn't see much results because I still ate like I didn't care, but I did have slight improvements. I think of walking more of a clense of thought, but its one of the more simpler things to do…
