I've got Asics as well. Had the gait analysis done and it helped with my shin splints. I was told brands like Nike, Reebok, etc advertise as running shoes, but they aren't really the best.

You can eat them back, just eat veggies or things that don't have carbs(or very low) if possible. Crystal light has about 5 cals per serving so you could have that instead of regular water, sugar free jello, etc. Carbs and sugar will raise your blood glucose so just try to find other options.

Do you take medications? Drugs like Mirapex and Ambien can cause that as a side effect.

Adorable! My boyfriend's 5 year-old son told me I was fat a couple of weeks ago :( My NSV was not over eating on Easter. I took a little bit of everything I wanted, and didn't go for seconds. I even ate carrots with lunch yesterday. (ewwww)

You're right- 14 lbs in 5 weeks is a lot of weight, especially since you are close to your goal. But don't forget you LOST 70 lbs! So what if you don't quite make it by May 20th as long as you don't give up trying. Weight loss isn't a race so it's ok to take longer than you thought.
