short people and resistance bands
I did Turbo Fire sculpt today and found that with a lot of the moves, I didn't feel like I had any resistance. I have the kind where you can switch out the tubing and the connecting piece is always rubbing on my arms and no matter what I do it feels like I have tons of slack. (i'm 5'0") Does anyone else have problems with…

Type 1 diabetics- low bs
I've been a type 1 diabetic for 13 yrs, now on a pump. Wondering if anyone has advice on controlling lows after exercise? I haven't been working out consistently enough to know how to adjust my pump and no matter when I workout my sugar seems to want to drop in the middle of the night. And then I want to devour everything…

NSV - 5K
I ran in my very first 5K yesterday! Finished in 33:35! It was hot and it felt long compared to the 2 miles I've been going, but I made it! And I only walked twice for about a minute each time. I started doing the C25K program a couple of weeks ago but I was worried because I'm not a runner and it wasn't near enough time…

Frustrating but...
I lost 0.5 lbs! Slightly disappointed (ok, a LOT disappointed) after 4 weeks of hard work. but better than nothing. So instead whining about it and getting discouraged, I'm posting my small amount of progress and plan to do better. I don't always eat perfect, and occassionaly I go over my calories a little, but I've been…

Sort of an NSV...
Small NSV today, I think. Went to Taco Bell for TOM comfort food (a bigger NSV would have been NOT going, but I was craving tacos!) Ended up coming away with only 400 calories! Sounds like a lot, but typically I would have gotten any of these choices: Nacho Bell Grande + Soft Taco = 970 cal Cheesy Gordita Crunch + Soft…

Shakeology question
Anyone use Shakeology that is NOT a Beachbody coach? I keep thinking about ordering it but it seems like everytime I find a post about it, the person writing has become a coach. I don't want to assume they're simply pushing the product, but I would like to get opinions from others who might be using it.

Ouch, my feet........
When I exercise, sometimes it feels like my feet cramp near the arches. It doesn't happen everytime, but it has been going on for years. I've worked out barefoot and in multple tennis shoes. I don't have high arches, but they aren't completely flat either. ANyone know why this happens? I've worn pretty much everything from…

Needing motivation even though I've just started....
So I move a lot for college, back and forth between cities, and my scale has been "lost" for a few months but the last time I remember weighing myself (Christmas break I think) I was 129 lbs. I went to my regular physician late February for a check up and again- 129 lbs. I listed this as my starting weight on this site…

First NSV
I sort of just starting out and actually trying, so I haven't had any scale vicotories yet, but I had my first NSV today. I went to request some medical records this morning and there was a bowl of bite-size Snickers hanging out on the recpentionists desk, begging to be eaten. I didn't even take one.
