  • I don't dwell on it and start the next day off as normal. I have surprised myself a few times with eating really bad one day, getting back on track, and actually having a BIGGER weight loss than what I expected. I think sometimes the shock is good for our bodies. :-) Don't beat yourself up over it.
  • Congrats on the weight loss. We all get off track sometimes, and life happens. The good thing is that you are back and we are all here to support you!
  • The good news is if it doesn't work out for you then you can cancel your membership. Definitely give it a try and see how you like it. If not, there are a ton of other options out there. Good luck!
  • I just started it, and I will admit that I haven't been doing it everyday. I was amazed the first time I did it the next day my whole body was sore. You definitely get a great work out from it!
  • I hide the fact that I am trying to lose weight, but only because I have tried and failed so many times, so I don't want anyone to know in case that happens again. I know, not a very good attitude to have! I like why you are hiding it though, and I think it will be awesome for your family and friends to see you when you…
  • I live in NC now, but I have lived in Myrtle Beach and Charleston, SC. I think Charleston is a GREAT place to live!
  • I am sure some people will disagree with me on this, but to me it is very unrealistic to think that I will never eat something I shouldn't ever again for the rest of my life. We are changing our lifestyles I know, but to deprive ourselves of certain foods once in a while just seems almost impossible, and I don't think we…
  • I am up for that! I also sent you a friend request. :-)
  • I am the world's worst at deciding not to work out when I plan to. :-) I say get you something to eat and go to class. It will make you feel better and give you the energy that you are lacking right now. I know that isn't the response you wanted! :-)
  • Congrats on your loss so far! I just started back trying to lose weight for the hundreth time, but I feel like I will be successful this time. There is so much support on this site, and that is what I need! Feel free to add me!
  • I enjoy making wraps for lunch. Yesterday I had a wrap with chicken, veggies, and low fat cheese. It was super easy and fast. I bought the chicken that is already make and cut up so all I had to do was microwave it for about 30 seconds.
  • I have always been told that your muscles will retain water to protect them after doing strenuous work outs, and that is the reason for the gain.
  • Oh wow, this will be so helpful to me, because I am not a big cook, but I want to learn, and I have been trying some new recipes out. Quick and easy are my favorite kind! Thanks for sharing!
  • I am right there with you! It is hard to be motivated when you have a lot to lose (I have more to lose than you do), but I am just trying to remember to take it a pound at a time. Set mini goals for yourself like the first 5 or 10 pounds and just concentrate on that instead of the 50. We can do it. Feel free to friend me…

  • WOW! That is a dramatic change, and I agree you do look a lot younger! Great job!
  • I want to do it, but I am sort of a beginner with the working out, so I am a little bit terrified of Insanity! I know so many people who have done it, and it is amazing to see their results!

  • Please don't give up. I think you need to bump your calories up some. It has taken me forever to grasp that concept of eating more to lose, but it is definitely true. I bet if you add more calories in this week you will see a loss. :-) Good luck. You can do it!
  • Wow, you have done awesome in less than two weeks. You can do cardio everyday so maybe just do that today?? Congrats on a great weight loss!
  • Congrats. I am new to this site as well, but so far I love it! Add me if you like!
  • I have always heard to trim body fat you use lighter weights and higher reps. To build big muscle you would use heavier weights and lower reps. I think 30 day Shred will definitely help. As you lose weight and build muscle your body fat percentage will definitely come down. Good luck!
  • Mine seems to be very accurate. I have one that I bought at a weight watchers meeting a while back. I like it because it definitely makes me walk more.
  • I am in the same boat as you are. I also have a very demanding home life with a 3 year old! I have started exercising on my lunch at work, and then just eating at my desk. Getting my exercise in during the day at work seems to alleviate some of the stress and it also gives me more energy. Good luck!
  • I am sorry about your miscarriage. :-( I have had 2 second trimester losses, so I know all about gaining weight after that! I also have a 2 year old son (he will actually be 3 tomorrow). I take him for walks a lot. I also try to walk at work when I don't have my son just in case I can't get a walk in with him for whatever…

  • My fiance does this too. I sort of took offense at first, and I came back at him with "What, do you not think I could leave you for a younger man looking like this?" LOL
  • Hahaha, I have only been a member for a few days, and I am already addicted! nwalters113 -I agree, it is way better than Facebook!
  • I have actually never done this before, but it looks like so much fun. It looks like the only thing I would enjoy doing as well. I am anxious to see responses from others who do Zumba.

  • WOW! That is definitely a difference, but you are BEAUTIFUL before and after!
  • WOW! Looking at your before and after pics actually made me cry! You are beautiful, and you should be so proud of yourself!
  • I just got this last night. I have to admit all I did was sit there and watch the DVD, but I am going to start it tonight. A friend of mine suggested it to me, because she lost 23 pounds doing it. She was on Weight Watchers while doing 30 day shred. I am going to make a commitment to myself to actually do it tonight, and I…
