That's what I do, then I cover them with red sprinkles so I know what kind they are. BTW, lemon cake with cream cheese frosting is the best kind of cake pop ever.

I totally agree. I would prefer to have skin hanging off me. Who needs muscle? Plus, I definitely don't want to get bulky and gross like those bodybuilding women. Ewwww. And I love being hungry! (Yes, both OP and I apparently share a love of sarcasm)

Agreed. Both are free programs. I do think NROLFW has a lot of info (so maybe get it from your library) but prefer these programs.

I would also recommend reading NROLFW. I didn't do the program (I don't think it needs to be that complicated) but it has a lot of good information about lifting in it. Starting strength and stronglifts 5x5 are also both good programs. I don't do either of those; I do full body compound lifts (bench, dead, squat, row,…

It does have a lot of pictures. I would recommend getting it from the library first to see if you would like the program. I read the book but found the program overly complicated. I do think it has a lot of good info for women.

I use PB2. The regular one tastes like natural peanut butter and the chocolate PB2 is unbelievably good. It's only 45 calories for 2 tablespoons too.

No, just no. First of all, you lose weight through a caloric deficit. It's best to do that through your diet. You may add some water weight initially when strength training (increased glycogen stored in muscles for repair, which is hydrophilic) but that will go away after your body adapts to the new program. Just wanted to echo this. Did you move to higher carb at the same time you raised your calories? That could have caused the weight gain.

That doesn't end when you have a child. You then get asked when you're having another. When you have 2, you get asked if you're having another. If you have 3 or more, people start asking if you're done having kids yet. What I'm saying is, people just like to ask nosy personal questions. :tongue:

In most cases though, it is fat. Unless it's paper thin, it's not just skin. That being said, diet and squats/deadlifts with heavy weights.

Completely agree! I hate cardio; the most cardio I get is playing with my kids. However, I love lifting so I love going to the gym to try for some new PR's!
