Focus on compound lifts. Check out Starting Strength or Stronglifts. Realistically though, your diet is what's going to determine your fat loss.

Low body fat? They're not trying to have "big, heavy muscles". They want to be as light as possible for their running. Much different than sprinters.

^^ Agree. Also if you're trying on your older clothes, realize that sizes have gone up. I wear a couple sizes smaller in new outfits than I do in my old skinny clothes. You may be surprised what size you can wear.

Haha! So much truth here! Honestly, people are really more focused on themselves than you (just like outside the weight room too). It may seem like they're staring at you but most of the time they're just zoning out/waiting for their next set.

We were shocked that our bowl was left! Candy was gone within an hour though. I can't believe some people are shocked that others leave a bowl out for the kids. We do it so we can take our kids trick or treating (and cocktail it up with our friends while walking the little ones).
