Ate out for dinner and while chillin' out waiting for the check, I over heard a child who was playing on her mom's Iphone say "Mommy you count brushing your teeth as exercise?"

And mommy replied "Of course."

I had a friend who logged mowing his lawn on a riding lawn mower.....
  • So when I log wiping my a**, that's NOT a good thing to do??? Darn.
  • WOW........SMH
  • Wow. That sounds like someone I know. >_< (*cough243caloriesdoing60minutesfoodpreporcookingcough*)

I rarely count my grocery shopping day as exercise...there's not a good way to determine just how much walking, at what pace, for the amount of time I WAS walking during my shopping trip.

I'm TRYING to wear my step counter every day so I can at least count steps on those days. :P

    ROFLMAO!!!

Or picking your nose...neither one of those is a good thing to log. :D

Do you mean I am cheating myself with my sonicare? I mean I still hold it, and move it around. Nope, it's still exercise with an electric toothbrush.

Niner- Just don't take away flat ironing my hair as exercise. It's like 9 million upper body reps!

Hmmmm sounds kind of judgey maybe she brushes her teeth in a squat or lunge. Maybe she does high intensity cardio jumping jacks while brushing her teeth. MAYBE she is SOOOOO lazy that this is the only time of day her arm comes that far up her body with no food attached to it. I mean there are so many reasons to log brushing your teeth as exercise....tomorrow morning I am so logging putting on my make up!

 only because there is no face palm smiley! There needs to be one of those  I tried

I brushed my hair, applied mascara, and channel surfed. I can't move! How many calories do you think I burned? 400,500?

I guess that means I can't log my bicep curls as exercise. :grumble: I mean, really! I do dozens a day with each arm! After all, I do take turns with each hand lifting my fork to my mouth! Same movement isn't it? :ohwell:
  • I bet they had good teeth though....

    Or they skip workouts...

  • Maybe she was just appeasing her daughter, like an "oh yea, sure..."
  • Well unless she is brushing her teeth out of her frikken head!
I count my once a week big clean and my once a month HUGE clean in there but I'm not bumping up the cals to make myself feel better. I do alot of bending over and pushing furniture around by myself. And I have 2 cats and a crappy vacuum so that is a workout it itself!!!
How can you count food prep? Ok so my boyfriend is/was a chef and he would be sweating like mad but I'm sure he wouldn't count it as he is just standing in the one spot mostly.
    Some people really shock me.

But can I count breathing? Oh I sneezed just then too.
