  • The calorie intake varies from day to day based on the amount of training. I just put 1300 as its the lowest one (goes up to 1680 some days) MFP normally has me on 1200 as I'm a 25 year old female with about 5-10 kgs to loose. So the PT is actually trying to slowly increase my intake. But I understand your concern :) you…
  • I'm Blythe..... and am not actually a doctor :)
  • Big difference in your face and arms, and across the shoulders! And that's only at the half way point! Looking great, Keep it up!

  • Tough call! Pretty in Pink, Willow, and The Princes Bride would be my top 3 but you can't go past Alien, Predator, Die Hard, Ghostbusters and so many others EDIT: I forgot the Star Wars and Indiana Jones films that came out in the 80's!! they have to go on my list!
  • Hey I have those! I never knew what they were.... or that they were a good thing I didn't notice them until I put weight on, so I thought they were because of that and wanted to get rid of them. i feel so much better about them now haha
  • When I first finished I could run 5k over the whole run (including warm up and cool down) then as I kept doing the 30min run, I got to 5k by the end of the run, and the cool down was extra. I'm almost finished the B210K program now, and am running for 60mins straight, which is meant to be 10K but I'm only at 8K i'm not too…
  • I kid you not, my mum's friend did a diet where; she could only eat white food, and once a day she had to meditate for 30 minutes...naked, under a red light, listening to heavy metal music. The red light and the angry music were meant to energise her and boost her metabolism. I was around 14 at the time and remember…
  • Im a size 10 (US 6) and weigh 65 Kg My original goal was to be 60Kg and a size 10, I was really surprised when I could fit into that size at this weight I've got progress pics up on my blog http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/drblythe Oh and I'm about 5ft 5. Hope that helps :)
  • When my boyfriend calls it's- He's A Rebel by The Crystals General Ringtone is- Sha Boom by The Crew Cuts and my Text tone is the "Gung Gung" noise from Law and Order :)
  • I used to hate making phone calls. I used to have panic attacks as a kid if I had to call a friend's house as there was a chance their parent or sibling would answer. I don't know why it bothered me, but the idea of not knowing who would answer freaked me out so I'd have to plan a conversation for any scenario. It's ok, I…
  • When I found Lululemon I got super excited, but they were a bit too pricey so I decided to use them as one of my weight loss rewards, when i finished my c25K program I got an AWESOME pair of shorts that I use pretty much everyday so were totally worth the money, lots of money for iPod and keys etc. everything else i wear…
  • My boyfriends not super into it, but he knows I like it so he tries.... a little. Normally he "can't think of anything to get me" So the way it's worked out the last few years is he's taken me out for dinner and wine. and i'll get him a small present, nothing too crazy but usually something I can get engraved to make it…
  • bump. Thanks!
  • So much cuteness! This is my boy Stalin. :)
  • I love running in the rain, and I'm actually better when I do! I don't get hot or thirsty :) I usually start up my music and c25k app then wrap my phone in plastic wrap and plastic bags (I wrap it with lots of things just to be safe) then put it in my pocket and off I go :) haven't had any water damage yet (fingers…
  • Thanks! Yeah I don't loose weight very quickly, that's why I started taking pics, I was sure there must be a difference but the scales weren't really moving! I'm glad I did take photos, now that I look back on them, really motivates me :) @fatburn120 If you have less weight to lose its generally slower, but 30 Day shred is…
  • I love the 30 day shred and really liked my results. if you scroll down to the beginning of my blog you can see my progress pictures (even though they're super embarrassing) http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/drblythe
  • Me too! I'm exactly the same, once i have one bowl its all over. it usually starts with "oh there's some milk left in my bowl, I'll just top it up with a little more cereal" then it just full blown cereal binging. I don't keep it in the house unless its one I don't like. My biggest weakness is coco pops....
  • oh and I had great results the first time I did this, better than I had doing The 30 Day Shred. I've just finished the Insanity program and am wanting to go back to some old familiar Jillian workouts but don't want to do The Shred again (I've done it twice!) Oh and No More Trouble Zones is an amazing workout I think its my…
  • Hey I've done it before and was thinking of starting it again this week! (I was glad to see another post about it, and surprised no one else replied!) The one I did before was slightly different, as it didn't have "Killer Buns and Thighs" so it looked like this Quick Trouble Zones= Do No More Trouble Zones, without the…
  • Oh my god you look amazing!! well done!!
  • WOW great improvements!! well done :) I'm doing my final fit test next week so I'll put mine up then
  • I just wear my running shoes (they're designed for trail running so give lots of support) I didn't really actively choose to wear them, they're just the shoes I have but I haven't had any issues with them while doing insanity, I had some knee issues a few weeks ago but i think that was more bad form on my part then the…
  • Fantastic!! Huge difference! Well done :)
  • Wow!! I'm half way through now. I hope I look that amazing at the end!! Well done! incredible results. Thanks for sharing! you've motivated me to get off my butt and start my workout :)
  • I'm not a fan of the word "Hubby" either, but I don't think it bugs me as much as it annoys you. I really don't like it when people refer to their husband/wife/boyfriend etc as "their other half" ....you're still a whole person even if you have a husband. I think that annoys me more than "hubby"
  • So there's hope for me yet! :) I'm going to try to really watch my form, and hopefully everything will sort its self out. Thanks for the tips everyone
  • I've been reading online and the knees seem to be a common area for pain during insanity. most places ave said to rest and then when you get back into it really watch your form. and to try to land on the balls of your feel for all jumping moves. And then using soft surfaces too. I have floor boards but i some times use my…
  • This is the play list I used for all of my C25K runs, copied this from my iTunes, reading through it made me laugh, some of them are a little embarrassing, but my dad told me never to be ashamed of music that I liked....even if it is Flock of Seagulls :P (that being said 'I Ran' is obviously a brilliant song for running)…
