  • Thanks!! This is what this site is about!! Obviously, you are a wise and mature man.
  • To: TwistedLiquid Regarding your horrible comment: Obviously, most people are not as shallow as you. Hopefully, you will grow up someday! I know many very attractive people who are overweight. There are a number of beautiful models who are plus-size and gorgeous. Just because you may not find it attractive doesn't make it…
  • I was a member of Curves for almost a year as well. I didn't lose a pound! I need MORE exercise and intensity. You are still young and not that overweight, so if you are in good health then I think you should try 5-6 times per week of cardio for at least 45 minutes each. It should make you sweat! I would STRONGLY suggest…
  • I believe that if you log your true exercise minutes and food calories and keep them so the balance is near zero, you will lose weight. It just makes sense, so it has to work. Stick with logging in faithfully, exercising regularly, and eating healthy......and you will lose weight. Of course, I may not be the best one to…
  • I did it! I burned a total of 1073 calories! I'm pumped! Not quite enough, but at least I'm only over by a couple hundred calories now. I'm back on the wagon. Woohoo!!
  • What a horrible day I had today!! I'm going to have run for 2 hours to burn off all of the excess calories I ate...aaarrgghh!! Right now I need to burn off an extra 1,300 calories. Goin' to run and then head to the gym with my daughter. Wish me luck!!!
  • Way to go!! You should be proud. Be strong as you continue toward you winning goal.
  • Thanks, I found it. Unfortunately I didn't realize that measurements the first time were just supposed to be the titles. So now when I look at the titles it also includes my first measurements. Is there a way to edit that??
  • I just added my measurements to this site, and now I don't know where to find them. It's like a lost tunnel in here, and I can't find my way back. Help!!!
  • Congratulations!! This is a big incentive for me, a newbie to this site. I've lost 3 pounds my first week (which I seriously doubt is water weight as I've been exercising pretty regularly for the past 6 months). I'm pleased. Thanks for sharing your triumphs! It encourages the rest of us. Keep up the great…
  • Way to go, girl!!
  • Starting weight: 217 Goal by Memorial Day: 195 Goal per week: 2.7 pounds Lbs lost this week: 3.25 Lbs lost total: 3.5 Good first week. I had hoped for a little more of a loss for my first week, but I'll take what I can get. I haven't weighed less than 213 since before Christmas, so I'm sure I'll break that barrier next…
  • Just another side note....if any of you are not able to jog (or even wog yet).....never fear. There are other ways to keep your heart rate up. My sister (who is much heavier than me) uses ankle weights and does some boxing punches while she walks, because she is not yet able to jog.
  • Hi! Glad to help. I feel like I've been doing all of the taking on this site, with very little giving.....so it's time to give back. I bought mine at a sports and fitness store. It's a Polar T-31 Coded. It straps around your chest and then you wear a special watch. It cost me about $100. They have cheaper ones, but they…
  • Got it now. Thanks!
  • THanks! I looked at yours and I see "reasons I want to lose" "inspirations" and other stuff. How do I go to that? Sorry, I'm still new to this stuff.
  • I have been working out fairly regularly for 6 months+, but I haven't seen much progress. I was using a treadmill and an elliptical machine at the gym. I spoke with a trainer at the gym and he suggested that I buy a HEART RATE MONITOR. This has made a huge impact on my motiviation!! It beeps at me whenever I need to speed…
  • I'm still trying to figure all of the posting stuff out. How do you look at someone's profile??

  • what does "BUMP" mean???
  • Okay, I'm in. This site is really motivating me, and I must admit THAT is not easy to do, considering I have been yo-yo dieting for 20 years. This is IT though! No more messin' around. I'm gettin' serious! Current weight: 217 Goal weight: 150 Goal for Memorial Day: 195 Weight loss: 1 1/2 pounds per week (very doable!) I'm…
  • Hi everyone. I'm new to this site, and I'm just putting in all of my first day's totals of exercise and food. I actually decided to join this site after hearing about something similar at Gold's Gym. I can't remember what they called their program, but they explained that essentially I need to have a deficit of 1,000…
  • I'm hoping this will motivate me to stick with the slow process of taking off (FOREVER!!) 1-2 pounds per week.
