This is such an awesome story! I'm on that same journey now of realizing that endless cardio and obsessing over food and calories is just NOT the way to do it. I also LOVE weight lifting, and find that I get excited to go to the gym (which never happened before!) Awesome, awesome job! I think the best part of this story is…

I agree! The dismount is never pretty.

Wow! First words out of my mouth were "holy *kitten*!" Amazing! Great work

I looked through to make sure someone hadn't said this one yet, so hopefully I didn't miss it! Has anyone listened to Katy Perry's new song "Roar"? I know she's not everyone's favorite, but this song has (I think) such a wonderful message. Makes me want to dance and go run around outside all at the same time. Here's the…

I have one! Lately it's been a bit about fitness and dieting, but mostly it's just a personal blog where I try the things I've always told myself I couldn't do (and trying to not wait around for January 1st to "change my life"!) it's called Resolution Shmesolution. http://www.shmesolution.com I love reading new blogs!

That's awesome - I'm kind of stuck on Week 3, but I know I'll get there eventually!

You look great! Awesome job!!

It looks wonderful! I have a blog as well, and it's SO plain and hum-drum. I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to re-design though. Did you do it all yourself, or have someone help you? Also, mine DEFINITELY helps me stay motivated, so keep it up! :)

This is awesome - such a great story to tell. And I totally, 100%, agree with what you said: that no amount of reward-giving or hating yourself for eating certain things is going to motivate you. It's about HEALTH! Great job!!

That's awesome, fantastic job!!

Loving all of these! Went through every one and am happy to say I have many more blogs on my To-Read list now. Keep it up everyone :)

I was JUST thinking about starting a topic like this - so glad I saw this one! I love, love, love reading new blogs. Even if they aren't fitness related - I still feel as though they give me motivation in everyday life. Mine is called Resolution Shmesolution (http://www.shmesolution.com) and is about following your…

I agree with this. Especially when the ratio of guys to girls was in my favor. It's nice to get complimented ;)

Reality television. (best ink, say yes to the dress, keeping up with the kardashians.... ) My boyfriend hates them. He says they only bring out the worst in people (and that I'm supporting that by continuing to watch... oops!).

I used OKCupid, and was on there for about 11 months before I started dating my current boyfriend (and future hubby!). I'm absolutely for them. I think there will always be some sketchy people on sites like that, but if you use common sense and remain cautious of meeting new people, I think it can be extremely successful!…

Bump! Great workouts, I'm going to try today! Thanks!

Everyone is doing a great job! I didn't get a chance to weigh myself yesterday, so I'm not sure yet. But just here to leave some encouragement :)

I was the exact same way - not enough water, mostly diet soda throughout the day. When I stopped in January, it really wasn't so much a weight shift, but I looked and felt a LOT less bloated all the time, so I think it was definitely worth it. Plus, your body will thank you with the decrease in the amount of chemicals it's…

I JUST read that at the gym this morning! I was searching online when I got to work, because I totally agreed with what they said. I think first impressions might be "this is gimmicky", but really it's no different than a lot of what I've heard - being mindful of how you're feeling, your hunger level, and appreciating what…
