Don't lose the faith, jbuc! Keep pushing, xxx

I will be doing the last level 2 day on Thursday, so not too far ahead of you Sally. Well, except of course for the fact that I'm halfway across the world, so my Thursday actually starts in the middle of your Wednesday night
-
Haha! Fat Suicide! I love it.

Awesome!!! Let's do it! No need to start a new group, me thinks. This is gonna be awesome. I'm also doing 10 straight days on each 30DS Level, with a rest day in between. Just completed day 17. Gonna start RI30 on 'day 32' - if that makes sense? Lol
-
Congratulations on your milestone, eep223! Halfway to your goal? That's really something to be proud of. The weight only started to come off for me these few days of level 2. I hope when we hit l3 I'll start seeing bigger numbers.
-
Wow! Great progress. Well done. I also felt like I didn't quite give day 16 my all but, like you, didn't give up. Still working up a major sweat each day, regardless. Also finding my arms get tired easily when I raise them doing day-to-day stuff. I hope that's a good sign?

I was thinking of doing Jillian's Ripped in 30 after this and maybe some other 30 day thing afterwards (another JM programme perhaps?). I'm just starting out with my weightloss and my plan is to stick to something very structured (and possibly a bit boring/annoying, lol) for the first three months while I get to grips with…

I think most people are going at their own pace. I am doing 10 straight days of each level and a rest day before beginning the next one. Jillian recommends that you actually do 2 days 30DS, 1 day straight cardio, anyway - so I would just continue counting after your rest day/alternate exercise days, instead of starting…
-
Congratulations! Those are great results. Here's to the next 15!
-
Awesome job! Just as long you don't *cheat* like Natalie. Lol.
-
Haha. Very clever. I live in South Africa, but my husband is from Zambia! I've got a lot more to lose than you do, but I'm happy to add you for support from a fellow southern African :)
-
Lol jbuc07! Natalie is the worst cheater! I love it when Jillian calls her out on that one set of squats. haha
-
Awesome job hanging in there! You have good reason to be proud. When I think of how far I have to go to get to my goal and how many times I've given up before, makes me wonder sometimes if I can keep it up this time. You're right, so much of the challenge is mental. But I guess we've gotta take it one day at a time - and…

I do my workouts at like 4:30 or 5:00 am, so I eat nothing - straight out of bed and into the living room to work out. Don't know if that's good or bad :ohwell:
-
Hey! Most of us did level one for 10 days before moving to L2. Those of us are gonna do 10+10+10 (10 days on each level, with rest days wherever we feel we need them)
-
Keep pushing! I know you'll get there.
-
Wow! Great job everyone. So nice to have people to share successes with! xxx
-
Yeah! Way to go guys! I love the determination.
-
I hear you. Almost all those exercises are ridiculous! I kinda feel like Jillian skipped a level, lol. But you can definitely tell that they work. The burn is unmistakable!
-
Lol. Yes, we can and we will!!
-
I started level 2 today as well... Took a rest day on Monday, but will be doing 10+10+10. So happy to hear I'm not the only one who totally tanked! Level 2 is crazy. Couldn't keep up with the plank exercises at all! Trying not to be too hard on myself... Just kept thinking how badass I'm gonna feel when day 10 rolls around…
-
You ARE a rockstar! Great job!
-
Oh no! So sorry to hear you got hurt :( Hope it heals up soon. Way to go by not giving up, though!! Your determination will pay off. Day 8 was awesome! Gave me lots of much needed energy. I definitely feel stronger in general and my posture has improved. My mom commented today that I was looking "very solid and upright"…
-
Oh, and hope you're feeling better :)

I would say count it as Day 7. From what I understand, Jillian herself recommends taking a day (or was it 2 days? Can't remember) 'off' in between each 30DS day to do just straight cardio. I remember reading an interview where she said it's not actually 30 days (it's more coz of the 'off' days), but she just named it 30DS…

It is a really great group, isn't it? Lol @ your baby! So cute. I did my day 5 in the evening with my 1 yr old & 6 yr old trying to join along. The baby kept trying to climb on my head during the ab work and crawling under my legs in the squats, lol. Definitely made for an interesting workout!
-
That's a problem I can't wait to have! Good luck! Don't forget to let us know your final results.
-
True. It's not over yet - would love to hear if you have lost any inches by the end of Day 10. Also your ticker shows that you're almost at your goal, so your body is probably already pretty well conditioned and maybe there won't be much of 'shred' effect for you - but rather more of a 'cut' effect (like definition and…
-
I agree. Definitely looking more at inches (or cm's in my case) for this one. Even if there's not much of a difference, I can say without a shadow of a doubt that I'm fitter and stronger than Day 1 - that in itself makes it worth it!
-
True. The first one is pretty bad (all that jumping) - but I forget about it quickly. That last set comes when all I want is for the darn thing to be over, and she keeps telling me to keep going - I wanna strangle her. Lol.
