I'm not a doctor or scientist so there is no way I can give you an answer. It's just what I believe and how my body feels when i do not eat sugar or processed foods. Everyone has their own opnion and I was only giving mine.

I got down to 118lbs the lowest but typically stayed closer to 125. I have a picture in my photos of me at my lowest....I'm wearing a pink bathing suit on the beach. Sorry I don't know how to post pic here, lol I felt great then and will get there again!

For me currently it's my wedding in Oct. I have just put my foot down and told myself I have to do this! Also...I recently watched Fed Up. That documentary will make you want to eat better and stay on track...lol Well at least for me!

I only drink water. I actually like it! Never really craved soda or juices.

Go to Whole30.com It's all about eating real, unprocessed foods. I just started on Monday and I feel great! You can find recipes and exactly what to shop for ...and what not too ;-)

I don't think it's "bad" but I try to stay away from artificial sweetners and the carbonation...diet or regular, make me feel bloated. So I only have one (diet always) once in awhile. I drink mostly water and green tea. And wine or beer when I cheat...lol

I buy canned beans,brown rice...if you don't buy organic....veggies and fruits are usually not too expensive. Soda and juice. Never wast my calories on drinks. Unless it's a glass of wine;-) But I am currently not drinking alcohol either so no wasted calories on drinks for me. I wish I could skip break fast and have more calories for the day and not feel as hungry but I wake up so hungry! I have to eat within the first 2 hours I wake up at least!

Yes.....it is possible! I was 147lbs and got down to 119lbs last year. I was very strict...logged every day and exercised at least 4-5 times a week. Took about 5 months I'd say. I am sad to I fell off the wagon and am back at 143lbs but am back on track just this week :-)

That is awesome! I agree cutting carbs...pastas....starches helps a TON! I still eat some but not like i used to....hence why I gained my weight back :-( And like you I would rather cut out a food entirely than try to eat in moderation. Like pizza....I cannot eat one piece....I want to eat 4! So I stay away or modify it…

My fiance makes this avacado salad I love! Chopped avacado purple onion sliced thin a splash of vinegar (I use rice vinegar, not as strong to me) little olive oil salt/pepper So simple but delish! I've actually toped a turkey burger with it once and it was so good!
