I really would just stick with what you did the first time around, TDEE is usually more consistent and better for long term and 1700 calories is perfect for a female! sounds like you really had it dont to a system the first go round and everything seems right. If it worked for you there is no reason to change it! its…

Hey man Im 19 and 6' so we are pretty similar. I totally know the feeling of wanting to look good(you know what). 170 is a good weight to shoot for but your gonna have to start hitting the weights man. In the last 6 months Ive been doing a program and put on about 13-15lbs of muscle so ill be ready for summer. If you wanna…

hey alissa! I know how it feels to hit a plateau! they can be REALLY annoying sometimes, the decimals are just your food and water weight so nothing to worry about. There are a number of things you can try, the most common and effective thing is to increase your calorie level by 200 calories. So if your eating 1400…

I dont want to sound like a smartalic, but mfp does that

its pretty good, I prefer dannon lite and fit but they are a great source of protein and probiotics.

I have the under armor monitor but I have heard great things about the RC3! Heart rate monitors are still very accurate for weight lifting I use one when I lift, but I use it to make sure I keep my heart rate up, not for the calorie burn. Typically weight lifters use the TDEE method for tracking because the calorie burn…

Great job on getting to the gym 3 times a week, that is so good! you are not going to get abs at 1200 calories, I really hate to tell you that. In order to get abs you actually have to increase your metabolism slowly so that you can build the muscle then lose the fat. Some people get them easily, but for people like us you…

Wow! i am so sorry about your arm! glad you are ok now that congrats on the recovering, i know it can be a loong and daunting task. I always say if you have an upper body injury your lower body still works fine, that means any ab and leg work is fair game, try sticking to the video that focus on those area or look for a…

That is awesome! just wait until you get to 3-4 days a week! youll love the way you feel! are you excited?

Wow! 74lbs that is so fantastic! keep it up! How long have you been at 1800-2100? if you maintained 1800 during your walking then you probably should increase your calories. Another tip would be to pick an actual calorie limit somewhere between 1800-2100 that way your body can get used to that amount and you know you are…

Hey! great job on quitting coffee soda, that is soooo hard to do! as far as energy goes, you can look into amino acids, certain kinds of amino acids are great for an energy boost and can be found by themselves or in alot of preworkouts. Also there are alot of superfoods that are know to give you more energy throughout the…

yes and no, the more natural food you eat the less youll crave sugar BUT since paleo doesnt really allow you to eat much treats you will keep craving junk. granted there is nothing nutritionally wrong with paleo, but I dont see it as very maintainable because it is so restrictive. If you track your calories and macros you…

Hey congrats! Im nearing the end of my first official bulk getting ready to cut. Its a ton of fun I can tell you that! My suggestions are more chicken, whey and yogurt. But really anything will do as long as it fits your macros. Also youll need to start slowly uppinng your calories, ideally for a bulk you want to gain…

I can help!
-
just use TDEE it is much easier to stick to and the exercise calorie burn for mfp tends to overestimate. if you have any questions feel free to message me, I would love to help
-
You probably just need to lose alittle bit more body fat along with the ab workouts. I am a college student and I workout 2 jobs so I know how hard it is. Just stick to your plan and youll get there. Trust me, you can do it!
-
I wouldnt track them at all, TDEE is more accurate when it comes to tracking and much easier to stick to considering you get the same amount of calories per day. Either way I do yoga once a week and love it, keep up the great work, you got this
-
depends on what you mean by burn. If you burn the amount you eat by exercise then you will lose weight most likely. If you are eating the same amount as your TDEE then no you wont lose
-
Just set a goal and know that you can do it if you set your mind on it! Ive seen hundreds of people do it before you got this! And I can help you every step of the way, and you will get all the support you need
-
so just to clarify you werent losing weight at 1300? if so I would recommend reverse dieting (repairing your metabolism) Eat to perform is a great organization and they have alot of great advice and research, the only changes I would suggest is increase calories to 1400 and increase protein to 1g per pound of body weight .…
-
The only suggestion I would make is to change the recommended servings of meat a bit, 1-2 servings of meat per day is not nearly enough protein to support your body, with that being said the dash diet is a great starting point to a happier healthier life! 2015 is going to be your year!
-
I would suggest just using TDEE for beachbody workouts. So only eat your calories given per day. if you at at or around 1200, set your daily goal to 1600 and thatll take care or your daily workouts
-
You are most likely not eating enough, set your calories to 1600 and you should feel fine and start losing quickly, youll have to set up your macro split as well. If you like some help shoot me a message.
-
most likely water weight, also if you are logging your fitbit calories burned there is a good chance it is overestimating your calories causing you to eat too much. Happens frequently
-
I would suggest alot more protein! 20% as mfp default is not enough whatsoever. Start with 150g of protein(about 1g per pound) 20-25% fat whichever you prefer and the rest carbs, this will give you enough carbs to fuel your workouts, enough fats for your bodily functions and enough protein to repair and build muscle. My…
-
Neither seems correct but if I had to choose I would say the pacer app. Either way would really wouldnt suggest logging your steps into mfp. TDEE is much more accurate and it is much easier to follow because you have the same calorie level each day no matter what.
-
I often get embarrassed when someone complements me as well and I just sort of say thanks and leave it at that, but you should be proud people are noticing! that means its working! The negative comments however, will continue as well, Im not quite sure where it comes from, but I think with alot of people it stems from…

If the 21 Day Fix book told you to eat 2147 then go with that, the program works wonders and I think youll love it. Just go into your goals and manually type in the 2147 calories. If you ever need any help feel free to message me.
