Kind of curious on this topic myself...My strength training of late has been focused on 'Strength" I am wondering if lighter weights more reps from an endurance perspective might be the answer.

I was going to suggest spam as well. Slice it up fry instead of bacon... Actually pretty good. Not cleanest mind you. And prepping stuff beforehand also helps. How manys days/nights?

I too love chocolate. My vote would be allow yourself the square of reeeaallly goood dark chocolate such as Green and Black and know you are putting something non-processed into your system.

I make a "pudding" with them, combining them with coconut milk, silken tofu, with some berries/bananas thrown in. Just started using them on a more regular basis, so can't comment on benefits just yet

As a single person, I also take the results of the big crock meal, and freeze individual servings, making the grab and go for lunch each night a bit easier...

Cheese is the one thing I cannot give up, and I 'm not sure I agree that it is not clean. I would start with small steps, and I liked the suggestion about getting him to try one new meal. Start with maybe one a week....Chilis/stews/soups are great ways to sneak stuff in too

Definitely this. I invested in a Blood pressure cuff (Maybe 30-40.00) and check first thing in the AM when I wake up. When I go to the Doc, definitely elevated at first, and then after chatting and the like with the doc it drops down to "normal". I would skip ahead... I just started week 2 and its 90 minutes running 2 minutes walking. A friend is on week four and there are longer intervals but not evenly split. I am thinking around week 5 or 6???
