I
peanut butter cookies. I'd like to know aswell.
Wonder if anyone has a good recipe with that PB2 stuff...0 -
Damn you.
Now I have the peanut butter cookie taste in my mouth... and I don't have any.0 -
Increase the butter by 1/3 and lower the baking temp from the recipe you are using. Voila!0
-
1 cup natural peanut butter. 1 cup sugar (your choice) 1 egg beaten. 350 degrees, about 10 minutes
Simple, easy, soft and chewy.
Edit to say recipe yields around 18 cookies (on the small side).0 -

We made 135 Peanut Butter cookies for Xmas gifts to everyone. They are delicious and amazing..... buuuuuuuuut, not healthy.
Did I mention they are delicious and amazing? And that there are still 5 bags left that need to be given out? And that I work from home?

THIS....lower temp or lower time of cooking. More butter is necessary either way.0 -

I heard that it was the byproduct of peanut oil production. You should only eat whole foods. Not that processed crap. Eat clean or stay home. Healthy fats for long lean muscle.0 -

I bought a jar of PB2 powder and I have to say I didn't care for it. I'd much rather spend the calories on real peanut butter now and again.0 -
Holy crap, I haven't even thought about peanut butter cookies in about 20 years. Staying away from this forum0

That's what I do. I get the 'reduced fat' Jiff. I don't eat much pb so it lasts a while.0 -

So when you eat dead animals you eat all the organ meat, bone marrow and skin? Loads of foods are fat reduced, peanut flour still has all the fibre and minerals.0 -

Just about any cookie recipe will yield soft and chewy cookies, if they are taken out early enough.0 -
Google "chickpea peanut butter cookies". It's a can of rinsed chickpeas, 1/2 cup plus some of peanut butter, 1/4 cup honey and a couple other things...healthy, creamy, semi chewy and soooooo good!!0

NATURAL peanut butter. Ingredients: Peanuts
Pb2 ..processed peanut "dust".
Reduced fat peanut butter spreads ( yep, a spread, not nut butter) ..remove fat, add more sugar along with the hydrogenated oil
My vote ... ALWAYS: NATURAL nut butters : )0 -

Thank you for all of the wonderful tips! Can't wait to bake them today! On a side note, they are not really for me, I had a special request from my hubby for them as he thinks Santa would like them for Christmas. LOL0
