  • All I know is that the last time I was on a diet/exercise regimen about 5-6 years ago, I didn't touch McDonald's for about two months. I decided to go one day and get two dollar menu items. I was twitching within ten minutes (I guess from all the junk going in) and felt horrible for a few hours after. I'm not touching the…
  • I'm counting....I'm planning on a personal size combination pizza (430 cal) and one Coors Light (137 cal)...total = 1272 cal. That plus my nightly workout will put me safely under the mark with a couple of hours to let the body burn additional before the ball drop and sleep.

Have one thing you really like but in a smaller portion. For me, it's pizza. I like having one personal size pizza a week. It's only…
  • I'm with bajoyba....I routinely do 950-1000 cal burn on the treadmill and log all my food and I haven't gained out of Week 1. In fact, the weight's been dropping like a rock over the past 6-7 weeks. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."
  • It's not uncommon for me to be over by 5-10 the MFP-recommended sugar intake and I'm down by 14 pounds in a month and a half. If you're exercising with any length and frequency, you'll offset the sugar intake easily.
  • I saw the "Sweat is your fat crying" quote in a pic of the Crimson Tide's locker room...that one's awesome.
