Rarely. I need to do that more, but my weight stays the same most of the time.

Thank you! I have slightly increased my activity, but that's all. I am mindful that I do not sit in such a way as to cut off the circulation in my legs. I do rub my legs, and move them, when I feel this coming on. I need, however, to walk more. I need to do my stairs more, too. I guess I am concerned because I've read…

I don't remember my dreams often enough. I love dreams, good or bad: they are entertaining! And they often tell me things I won't face during my waking hours. My dreams are more honest than I am.

* Being with family today. * My daughter-in-law rushing into the kitchen, saying to me, "Don't eat that!" as I reached for a cookie-looking thingy I really didn't want. "Save your sugar for the cheese cake!" She's so sweet and caring! * My son, grinning as I handed him the DNA test I'd bought for him. * My daughter, when I…

My husband walked by while I was making arrangements for an MRI this week. He stopped and said, "What did you say?!" They had asked me how much I weigh. I had responded, "213 pounds." I looked at him askance, a little bit irritated that he was interrupting the call. He said, "You told them you weigh 213 pounds!" I asked…

Thank you, Friday! I've learned that we all individually interpret our own dreams best and that others cannot interpret them, because they don't have our experiences, our thoughts.

I woke one morning to find my children, while little, standing over me, laughing. Why? They thought it was funny that I was laughing while asleep! As a child, I often dreamt that I was forced to drive on a narrow, mountainous highway, with steep sides, in a Model T. It was always scary. I didn't realize until decades later…

I decided to continue wearing the same clothes until they started falling off me, and I did. Finally, I got to the point at which I was often having to hold my jeans up. Ridiculous, I know, but what was fun was when I came into the office wearing clothes that fit, and the pastor I worked for and two of his cohorts stood…

Please don't post them, if you're uncomfortable with that. Thank you for answering! :)

I saw it just before I put my fork in it. I have cataracts, so I am lucky I even saw it! No, I didn't eat it, fortunately. EEEWWWWW! I am starting to think a lot more about not eating out.

The rest of my salad from last night. Should I count the 5-6 inch black hair I found in it?

Thank you, Brandon. :)

Thank you!

Do you like MFP so far for logging your calories, Meggo?

Bought a few more jars for my spices and herbs, to make sure they are not stored in plastic. (Why did I get rid of all those little jars a couple years ago?!?)
-
Well, of course, it's bad. I'm not in the trenches, as you are. I don't understand what you are going through, but I can look at my daughter and see how she beat it. I just expect the same for you. She was near your age when it all broke loose. She's almost 45 now.

Cool. You're going to do this! Are you prepared to grab some friends and go clothes shopping?! :)

My daughter went through cancer, caught early, a few years ago, and she's doing super well. She lost all her hair and went through a lot, too. I am sorry you are going through this. But, at least, cancer isn't like it used to be, is it, Lexi? By the way, Lexi. she got her hair back. She has beautiful thick hair!

What are you doing to help yourself reach your goals? Fewer calories? Exercising? Running? Biking? Other? Just curious.

Both glass and stainless steel drinking straws and a couple of glass jars. Trying to get all the plastics out of my kitchen.

My adult son asked me 3-4 years ago, "Mom, does love ever die?" My mind immediately went to his father, who was killed in a accident when our son was just over two years old. My answer was "No," even though I was, by that time, happily remarried. I still think of my first husband. Further, and surprising to me, the loss of…
