Your stomach is much smaller! Your hard work definitely paid off!

For the last two weeks, I felt like I was absolutely stuffing myself. I would eat what seemed like a lot of food (healthy food, of course). However, I noticed I started to get hungry about an hour after eating, for what I assume is my metabolism speeding up, and my body wanting to be fueled. I have been working out AT…

ICE CREAM! I switched to eating frozen yogurt. We have a frozen yogurt chain called Uswirl and all flavors are around 35 calories an ounce. It's really DELICIOUS and it tastes good even without toppings.

I always think to the future of when I DO reach my goal weight, and wonder how I will maintain it. I have decided that I will log my food basically my whole life in order to stay fit. Maybe this time focus on the long term more than the short term. I know it is helping me get through the anxiety of gaining the weight back…

Welcome! I have PCOS as well, and I know it can be a huge struggle. I've been overweight off and on since I hit puberty (at the ripe ol age of 8) and I know how hard it can be to lose it. I was at my highest weight a few weeks ago at 215. What I've come to realize is that I was using PCOS as an excuse for my recent weight…

Yay! It's always GREAT to see those little improvements. They are such an encouragement. Something similar happened to me yesterday. When I used to use the Elliptical, my heart rate would ALWAYS be over target. But yesterday I went 40 minutes and 30 of them were in my target heart rate. I was so proud of my heart! haha Way…

I think the numbers staring back at me is what motivates me most! At the end of the night, I will want to go out for ice cream, but then I see I only have 20 calories left, and I stop myself. Because of this, I would also say to just start logging. I would always find myself in a downwards spiral if I didn't write down…

I always feel sick if I work out right after I eat. :frown:

I don't really think it's the food that is the revolting part. I agree that there are way worse menu items at most restaurants. I guess it's just the "let's make fun of people developing health problems due to overeating" that is the revolting part.

I agree fully. I just think the idea is insane.

The grease dripping of the burgers made me wanna gag! It's disgusting that this guy is making money on glorifying obesity. Not to mention the fact that he had NO remorse for their "spokesmodel" dying at the age of 29.

This is what I plan to do! I want to put them on after I lost the weight, and see how much extra cloth is hanging around. It will definitely show how far I have come. And I am waiting to fit into a size 9 pair of jeans that were too small when I bought them. And that was when I WAS a size 9! I've never worn them....brand…

I listen to a Podcast called "How Stuff Works". It's really interesting. For music, I listen to Skillet, Family Force 5, Hawk Nelson. Normally more "Pop" stuff. It's upbeat and encouraging!

I did strength training in my aerobics class yesterday, so my body is SO sore! Especially my butt and thighs! So the thought of doing the Shred today was horrifiying to say the least! But i'm glad to report, it went great! I didn't have to pause the video and take a break! WOO HOO! Granted, I was with Anita most of the…

When people CONSTANTLY ask me if I'm pregnant just because I'm a newly-wed, and I can get pregnant now. :grumble: Not for 5 YEARS PEOPLE. 5 YEARS!

When I was in 4th grade, I was about two times bigger than all the other kids. I weighed around 150 and was already 5'4", and to top it off, my mom cut my hair into a pixie when I was gaining weight, and it curled up, making me look like a boy. They would call me a "fat boy". I was playing on the monkey bars one day, and I…

Just be who you are, and eat what you want to eat. Because getting healthy has to start with you and be about you first and foremost. Forget the haters :grumble:

Getting down to my goal weight and staying there seems impossible, your story gives me hope.

I'm in! I don't own a scale yet, but I am going to the doctor on March 10th. I'll record the weight I get there, and then I will vow not to buy a scale until after Easter. Yay I'm excited.
