I do interval training three days a week with my trainer. I wear a heart monitor and get my heart rate up to max level ( about 188) then wait for it to drop to about 140 ( the point at which i feel ready to start again) and then just start again. Maybe investing a heart monitor would help you determine which points are…

Definitely! When I first started, I always thought that spike day would consist of junk food for me, but I am finding it increasingly disatisfying to eat junk food and so now I actually start planning a lovely meal to cook instead! I enjoy it so much more and definitely can taste more flavours xxx

Did you know - in the UK McDonalds get their beef from a company called 100% beef - so they can say it is 100% beef in their burgers, but it doesn't mean what you think it does!!! :wink:

We follow a paleolithic way of eating - if you can pick it or kill it you eat it! My father in law has an amazing allotment and they grow all our veggies! xxx

For me it's nothing like the Atkins diet as it's not a diet. I'm not following a particular website or book. My trainer provided me with knowledge and we use it. In simple terms in our house if you can catch it or pick it we eat it. So meat has to be pure cuts - no sausages etc just pure cuts of meat. On the atkins diet…

Make sure you stretch out your calves a lot. They are caused by the muscles in the calf. So if you stretch them out nicely they will get better xxx
